The Guardian are looking to reshape and expand its ecommerce businesses and currently requires a well-rounded E-commerce Executive with strong skills in website analytics platforms (ideally Google Analytics), SEO, merchandising and digital marketing to join its growing team. Reporting directly to the Head of e-commerce, you will be responsible for ensuring that online sales and conversion opportunities are always maximised.
On a personal level, you will be a good communicator, with an obvious passion for e-commerce, digital marketing and technology, with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work and get the job done, along with a good sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team. You will have had experience of working within a digital team with exposure to website analytics platforms, ideally Google Analytics. You will be commercially focused and driven to provide the best user experience to customers. You will be able to prioritise improvements to the website and will ideally have experience of ticket logging systems such as JIRA, Youtrack or Gemini.
