  • The Performance Creative Strategist leads creative strategy for a portfolio of ecommerce clients within their pod. You drive advertising performance through data-informed creative direction — bridging the gap between paid media insights and high-converting creative execution. You own the full creative lifecycle, from ideation and briefing through to delivery and optimization, and you are ultimately accountable for the creative performance of your accounts.
  • **Performance KPIs**
  • You will be measured against the following KPIs on an ongoing basis:
  • Hit Rate: Target 100% | Green: 20%+ | Red: <80%
  • Revision Rate: Target 100% | Green: <10% | Red: >10%
  • On Time Delivery: Target 100% | Green: 95%+ | Red: <95%
  • Error Rate: Target 0% | Green: <0.05% | Red: >0.05%
  • In addition, you will be expected to develop a comprehensive creative testing framework for the DTC brands in your pod.
  • **Key Responsibilities**
  • Creative Strategy & Direction
  • Lead creative direction and strategy for all clients within your pod, serving as the primary creative voice on accounts
  • Develop and continually optimize each client's overarching creative strategy to drive brand growth and ad performance
  • Own creative brainstorming sessions, creative kickoffs, and the end-to-end creative brief process
  • Craft and present creative roadmaps to the team, including clear hypotheses, testing frameworks, and performance expectations
  • Analyze creative performance data from platforms including Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok, Google, and others — translating results into actionable decisions
  • Develop creative hypotheses and structured tests to move the needle on KPIs including CVR, CTR, ROAS, and brand awareness
  • Client Management
  • Serve as the client-facing lead for all things creative: status updates, feedback requests, strategic direction, and scope discussions
  • Host client-facing meetings to gauge feedback, align on upcoming campaigns, and review performance against goals
  • Pitch new creative concepts to clients, articulating the strategic rationale and expected impact clearly
  • Hold clients accountable to agreed timelines and budgets; adjust or close strategies that are not meeting expectations
  • Know each client's brand guide inside and out
  • Team Collaboration & Execution
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to designers, video editors, and content creators to ensure creative quality meets the brief
  • Delegate creative requests to the appropriate team members and manage project timelines from inception to delivery
  • Partner closely with the in-house paid media team to ensure creative strategy is fully aligned with media buying decisions
  • Source and negotiate with UGC creators; manage each project from shipment through to final creative delivery
  • Write direct response scripts and consumer-centric copy for ads across platforms
  • Research & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor market, industry, and platform trends to inform creative strategy and stay ahead of shifts
  • Conduct comprehensive market research on customer demographics for each client
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Brick's Creative Playbook
  • Maintain a regular flow of fresh creative to keep client ad accounts healthy and testing velocity high
  • **Skills & Experience Required**
  • Proven experience developing and executing paid social creative strategy, ideally in a DTC or ecommerce agency environment
  • Strong working knowledge of media buying across platforms, including Facebook/Instagram and TikTok — hands-on experience preferred
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into clear creative decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present confidently to clients and brief internal teams with precision
  • Experience directing UGC creators and managing creator relationships
  • Basic graphic design and/or video editing skills
  • Strong financial literacy, including understanding of budgets, ROAS, and the relationship between spend and return
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously
  • Obsessive attention to detail — you triple-check before submitting
  • Impeccable written and spoken English
  • **Our Core Values**
  • Every team member at Brick is expected to embody our four core values:
  • Extreme Ownership — You own your outcomes. No excuses, no finger-pointing. If something goes wrong on your accounts, you own the fix.
  • Openness — You welcome feedback, share ideas freely, and operate with transparency toward clients and teammates alike.
  • Growth — You are never the finished product. You are always learning, testing, and improving — for yourself and your clients.
  • Exceeding Our Own Expectations — Good enough is not the standard. You consistently push beyond what's expected and take pride in doing exceptional work.
  • *This is a contract role operating at full-time hours (40 hrs/week) with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.*
