  • Business & Pleasure Co. is seeking an E-Commerce Associate to support the day-to-day operations, merchandising, and optimization of our digital storefront across both our DTC and B2B websites in the USA and

  • This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, commercially aware, creatively sharp, and obsessed with e-commerce merchandising and customer experience.
  • The ideal candidate understands that an e-commerce website is never “done.” They naturally notice what feels off, what could perform better, and what needs immediate attention. They work efficiently, understand priorities instinctively, and know the difference between tasks that are simply nice to have versus tasks that directly impact revenue today. This is not a UX/UI designer position.
  • This is a hands-on role within a high-growth environment where no two days look the same. We are looking for someone who is excited by variety and collaborative problem-solving, executes efficiently, communicates effectively, and is a positive presence within the team.
  • **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
  • **Site & Product Management**
  • ·        Manage all product setup, uploads, PDP setup, and merchandising across Shopify Plus with precision and speed for both the DTC site and B2B site across two regions.
  • ·        Ensure PDPs are curated, visually cohesive, and include relevant UGC, swatches, and cross-sells.
  • ·        Keep the site updated, accurate, and shoppable across all devices.
  • **Campaign & Launch Execution**
  • ·        Build landing pages, collection edits, homepage updates, and banners that support campaigns and go-to-market initiatives.
  • ·        Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaign creative, messaging, and mechanics are flawlessly executed and QA’d.
  • ·        Maintain a tight feedback loop to help execute what’s planned and what’s happening on-site.
  • **Merchandising & Digital Storytelling**
  • ·        Translate product strategy into curated collections, homepage features, and navigation updates that drive engagement.
  • ·        Support merchandising and website updates that improve product discovery and customer experience
  • ·        Build thoughtful cross-sell and upsell logic using tools like ReBuy to increase AOV and discoverability.
  • ·        Ensure the site reflects a seasonal cadence, editorial vision, and seamless shopping journey.
  • **E-commerce Photography & Asset Coordination**
  • ·        Assist with the e-commerce studio shoot pipeline by getting images for the site before the product is shipped off for campaign shoots.
  • ·        Ensure imagery is consistent, clear, and optimized, including sequencing, crops, and styling notes.

  • Proactively flag missing assets or reshoot needs to keep launches and campaigns on track and ensure cohesive ecommerce product assets.
  • **Platform & Tool Management**
  • ·        Maintain and operate key ecommerce tools and integrations (Shopify Plus, ReBuy, Shoplift, Search & Discovery, etc.).
  • ·        Identify issues, troubleshoot performance bugs, and escalate to leadership when needed.
  • ·        Stay up to date on e-commerce tech and propose relevant upgrades or automations.
  • **Data & Optimization**
  • ·        Regularly review site metrics (CTR, CVR, bounce, time-on-page, etc.) to identify opportunities.
  • ·        Assist with merchandising and site updates that support conversion and overall website performance.
  • ·        Be the first to raise your hand when something’s underperforming while already having a solution in mind to discuss with leadership.
  • **Collaboration & Communication**
  • ·        Maintain strong attention to detail, follow through on assigned responsibilities, and proactively communicate progress.
  • ·        Understand shifting business priorities and focus on high-impact work that directly supports the customer experience and revenue performance.
  • ·        Collaborate effectively across teams while remaining adaptable, solution-oriented, and open to feedback.
  • **QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT**
  • ·        3+ years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, digital marketing, retail, or a related field
  • ·        Shopify Plus experience is preferred.
  • ·        Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • ·        Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working efficiently within deadlines.
  • ·        Quick learner with critical thinking skills and the ability to process information, adapt and execute effectively.
  • ·        Strong eye for merchandising, visual presentation, and customer experience.
  • ·        Interest in e-commerce, merchandising, customer experience, and digital retail.
  • ·        Positive collaborative attitude with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • ·        Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable receiving direction/feedback with the ability to adapt quickly.
