- The eCommerce Manager owns the end-to-end online sales experience for Custom Cones USA, which is our B2B BigCommerce storefront, our DTC site DaySavers.com, as well as third-party marketplace channels. This role requires deep familiarity with wholesale/B2B buying workflows, customer group management, and bulk-order fulfillment - alongside strong DTC merchandising instincts.
- The eCommerce Manager collaborates with leadership on merchandising strategies, manages new product set-ups, updating promotional campaigns on-site, and various other eCommerce related marketing projects while delegating daily operational tasks to virtual assistants. The role also involves evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to improve efficiency, customer experience, and sales performance across all channels.
- Duties & Responsibilities
- · Day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of CustomConesUSA.com and DaySavers.com
- · B2B operations: manage customer group pricing tiers, volume/quantity discounts, and quote request workflows
- · Product merchandising: updating content, imagery, pricing, cross-sells/upsells, and inventory visibility across customer segments
- · Theme updates, front-end customizations (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and UX improvements.
- · Staging environment and QA process ownership before pushing changes live
- · App/integration stack management — vetting, installing, maintaining third-party apps and plugins
- · Website backup and disaster recovery procedures
- · Manage product feeds and listings for third-party marketplace channels
- · Monitor marketplace performance metrics and optimize listings for visibility and conversion
- · Website content updates: landing pages, home page, blog posts, micro-sites, and promotional banners
- · SEO strategy execution in coordination with Content Marketing Manager
- · Monitor and report on KPIs via Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Site speed and Core Web Vitals optimization, Ahrefs
- · Conversion rate optimization: A/B testing, heatmap analysis, and checkout funnel improvement
- · Evaluate, test, and implement new tools to improve operations and customer experience
- Primary Objectives
- · Increase order volume and average order value (AOV) across both B2B and DTC channels
- · Improve B2B buyer experience: streamline quoting, reordering, and account self-service
- · Drive measurable gains in site conversion rate and customer lifetime value (CLV)
- · Ensure accurate and timely product publishing across all channels
- Minimum Experience & Qualifications
- · 5+ years building and maintaining eCommerce websites (BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, Magento, etc.)
- · eCommerce Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Webmaster experience with at least one major eCommerce platform
- · Direct experience with B2B eCommerce operations (customer groups, tiered pricing, or wholesale workflows)
- · HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- · Web analytics and data analysis (Google Analytics GA4)
- · SEO best practices
- · UX best practices
- · Basic API literacy (REST APIs, webhooks, integration architecture)
- · Strong written and verbal communication across teams and with vendors
- · Vendor and agency relationship management
- · Ability to prioritize competing projects and meet deadlines
- · Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset
- · Ability to train and mentor assistants or junior team members
