  • **About Havaianas**
  • *Since its creation in 1962, at Havaianas we are passionate about bringing the vibrant and carefree spirit of Brazil to people all around the world through our iconic flip-flops. As a global brand with a strong presence worldwide, we are dedicated to spreading joy, comfort, and style with every step & committed to strengthening our presence in North America & Canda and connecting with a diverse and aspirational audience*
  • **.**
  • **Purpose of the Role:**
  • Havaianas is building its North America DTC team in New York City, and the Ecommerce Coordinator is a foundational hire to support and grow these operations.
  • Unlike a traditional ecommerce coordinator, this role operates within a distributor model — meaning fulfillment and customer service accountability sits with our distribution and fulfillment partners, while brand experience, platform ownership, CRM, and consumer lifecycle strategy, including loyalty, remain firmly in-house. You will be the connective tissue between Havaianas, our distributor and their ecommerce fulfillment partner, and our internal brand, planning and tech teams.
  • **Key Duties and Responsibilities:**
  • **Ecommerce Platform & Site Operations**
  • Own day-to-day execution of campaigns for the Havaianas ecommerce platform, serving as a key point of contact for the distributor, ecommerce fulfillment partner, internal product team, and dev team
  • Coordinate site merchandising — product sequencing, seasonal storytelling, promotional cadence — ensuring brand marketing narratives are accurately and compellingly reflected online
  • Partner with the DTC Director and brand marketing team to translate campaign briefs into site executions
  • Execute SEO and GSO (Generative Search Optimization) updates through two workstreams:
  • Technical

Seo

  • partner with the dev team on site architecture, metadata, structured data, and crawlability
  • Content

Seo

  • execute on-site content optimization to drive organic traffic growth
  • **CRM, Loyalty & Consumer Lifecycle**
  • Manage the CRM platform end-to-end, including campaign execution, audience segmentation, lifecycle flow design, and performance reporting
  • Execute loyalty program strategy and day-to-day operations, ensuring program mechanics support acquisition, retention, and brand affinity goals
  • Partner with the DTC Director to maintain the CX strategy, partnering with the fulfillment operator on post-purchase communications and service standards
  • **Analytics & Reporting**
  • Execute and escalate all DTC reporting, including site performance, CRM metrics, SEO/organic traffic trends and any other reporting requested
  • Surface actionable insights to the DTC Director
  • Monitor channel health and flag risks or opportunities proactively
  • **Creative Coordination & Brand Stewardship**
  • Manage the creative brief process and serve as the primary point of contact with the creative team, owning deliverables, timelines, and feedback cycles end-to-end
  • Provide a thorough first round of creative review before work is presented to the DTC Director or cross-functional teams — this role is expected to catch issues, flag inconsistencies with brand standards, and deliver consolidated, actionable feedback to the agency
  • Present finalized creative to relevant cross-functional stakeholders (primarily brand marketing), collect feedback, and provide clear summaries back to the creative team
  • Proactively gather creative inspiration — trends, competitor references, cultural moments — and share with the creative team to inform campaign concepts and ensure work stays fresh and brand-right
  • **Requirements:**
  • 2-4 years of experience in ecommerce or digital operations — experience in a distributor or partner-led model is a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience managing Shopify (products and theme) is required.
  • General ecommerce technical knowledge is required, as this role will be managing web development tickets. Hands on experience managing a dev roadmap is a plus
  • Experience in CRM management (campaign execution, segmentation, lifecycle flows) is required; Klaviyo and Attentive experience is a plus. Experience with loyalty programs is a plus
  • Familiarity with SEO and GSO (Generative Search Optimization) concepts is a plus
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator — comfortable working with brand, tech, ops, and commercial teams simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented operator who can also zoom out to see the brand and business picture
  • Clear, direct communicator — equally comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and exchanging day-to-day ops updates with external partners
  • Comfortable in ambiguity; this is a newly formed function and you'll help shape how it works
  • Ownership mindset — you don't wait to be told what's broken
  • A genuine eye for brand — you understand look, feel, and voice, and you notice when something is off; you bring inspiration to the table, not just execution
  • **Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Experience in footwear, apparel, or lifestyle/consumer brand ecommerce
  • Familiarity with 3PL or fulfillment partner management
  • Exposure to branded retail environments or pop-up/partner store operations
  • *Please note that this is a hybrid position. It is expected to this person to be 3 days/week at the office in NYC.*
