  • **Role Overview**
  • We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to grow revenue and subscriber numbers for the 123Greetings Pro subscription. This is an ownership role focused on one clear outcome: more Pro subscribers and more subscription revenue. You will drive that through a mix of free-to-Pro conversion campaigns, promotional offers, partnership and affiliate deals, and bulk/corporate-gifting opportunities — working closely with the product, marketing, and analytics teams. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, comfortable with data, and equally able to design a conversion campaign and negotiate a partnership.
  • **Key Responsibilities**
  • **Own subscription targets:**
  • Carry and deliver against clear targets for Pro subscriber growth and subscription revenue.
  • **Drive free-to-Pro conversion:**
  • Design, run, and optimise campaigns and offers (in-app, email, seasonal) that convert free users into paying Pro subscribers.
  • **Build partnerships and channels:**
  • Identify, approach, and develop affiliate, distribution, and marketing partnerships that bring in new subscribers.
  • **Pursue bulk and corporate opportunities:**
  • Explore B2B, bulk, and corporate-gifting deals (e.g., seasonal corporate card programs and bulk Pro subscriptions) as an additional revenue stream.
  • **Optimise the subscription funnel:**
  • Work with product and marketing to improve pricing, paywall placement, onboarding-to-Pro flow, and the overall conversion funnel.
  • **Use data to grow:**
  • Track and act on subscription metrics — conversion rate, churn, retention/renewal, ARPU, and lifetime value — and report performance to leadership.
  • **Run experiments:**
  • Design and analyse A/B tests on offers, messaging, and pricing to lift conversion and reduce churn.
  • **Improve retention:**
  • Develop renewal and win-back initiatives to keep subscribers and reduce cancellations.
  • **Coordinate with marketing:**
  • Align with paid-acquisition and email-reactivation campaigns so that traffic is funnelled effectively toward Pro.
  • **Manage the pipeline:**
  • Maintain a clear pipeline of partnership and business-development opportunities, and manage outreach, negotiation, and relationships through to close.
  • **Required Qualifications & Skills**
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years in business development, sales, or growth — ideally for a subscription, app, SaaS, or consumer digital product.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, sales, or conversion targets.
  • Working understanding of subscription metrics and funnels (conversion, churn, retention, ARPU, LTV).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort with data and analytics; able to turn numbers into decisions and reports.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (email, paid social, in-app messaging).
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable owning an outcome end to end.
  • **Preferred (Nice to Have)**
  • Experience with freemium or subscription monetisation models.
  • Experience building or managing affiliate / partnership programs.
  • Experience with consumer products for an older (50+) or non-technical audience.
  • Familiarity with the App Store and Google Play subscription ecosystems.
  • Exposure to CRM and analytics tools.
