  • **The Role**
  • As the E-commerce Systems Manager, you will own the technical and operational backbone of Medica Forte’s digital business. Operating across our unified digital infrastructure, your mission is to ensure our B2B (clinical) and B2C (consumer) e-commerce systems are fast, stable, conversion-optimised, and continuously improving.
  • You will sit at the intersection of marketing, operations, and IT. With our core system architecture already established, this role is entirely focused on driving ROI from our tech stack. You will manage our app ecosystem, ensure seamless cross-border logistics, oversee automated clinical workflows, and guarantee that every customer journey - from an aesthetic practitioner to a direct consumer - is frictionless.
  • **Why This Role Matters Now**
  • Medica Forte is in an aggressive, well-resourced growth phase. We operate across complex, dual-channel markets including aesthetic technologies (Prfkt®), clinical pharmacy distribution (The Fertility Pharmacy), and consumer supplements (Glutaceuticals®).
  • Our technical infrastructure is being rebuilt as clean, modern, and built for scale, utilising a streamlined Shopify ecosystem alongside robust CRM automations and a separate Wix system for one of the business units. This role is critical to maintaining that standard. You will own the systems that power our performance, ensuring our digital infrastructure flawlessly supports international expansion, subscription rollouts, and multi-brand scaling.
  • **What You Will Own**
  • **Shopify & Wix Storefront Management**
  • Manage and optimise the Shopify and Wix architectures across all business units. Execute continuous technical conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and UX/UI improvements. Maintain distinct, highly tailored, and frictionless user experiences for both our B2B wholesale practitioners and our B2C direct consumers.
  • **App Ecosystem & Logistics Operations**
  • Own and optimise the e-commerce app ecosystem, ensuring maximum ROI from third-party tools while strictly preventing tech bloat. Manage the technical aspects of our Klaviyo integration to support highly targeted B2B and B2C marketing lifecycles. Oversee the World Options shipping integration within Shopify, ensuring automated, cross-border logistics run smoothly as we expand into European markets.Ensure that Gorgias is meeting the automated customer service needs of the business.
  • **Catalogue & Market Expansion**
  • Manage the digital product catalogue, ensuring absolute accuracy for The Fertility Pharmacy and the imminent EU rollout of Glutaceuticals®. Manage and optimise subscription-based models for our consumer supplement lines. Ensure pricing, inventory availability, and compliance messaging are strictly maintained across different regional and professional markets.
  • **Automation & Clinical Workflows**
  • Manage and refine the automated CRM workflows that power The Fertility Pharmacy, ensuring zero friction in the data flow between patient enquiry, prescription approval, and Xero invoicing. Collaborate with operations to continuously streamline lifecycle workflows, ensuring patient and practitioner data remains secure and highly actionable. Act as the primary technical owner for e-commerce operations, allowing the core IT team to remain focused on overarching business infrastructure.
  • **E-commerce Analytics & Reporting**
  • Track and report on revenue, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and funnel performance across all brands. Identify technical bottlenecks proactively and deploy targeted improvements to resolve them.
  • **Key Impact Areas**
  • System Stability & Speed: Maintaining a fast, reliable, and highly scalable Wix/Shopify/Klaviyo ecosystem. Global Readiness: Ensuring cross-border shipping and localised catalogues function perfectly to support European expansion. Operational Excellence: Keeping automated clinical and pharmacy workflows running without manual intervention. AOV & LTV Growth: Increasing average order value and lifetime value through smart use of subscriptions, cross-selling apps, and seamless UX.
  • **How Success Is Measured**
  • Performance Metrics: Measurable, continuous improvement in conversion rates and AOV across all storefronts. Speed & UX: Strong Core Web Vitals, fast page load times, and zero-downtime operations. Workflow Efficiency: Flawless execution of automated integrations (from lead capture to shipping and invoicing). Data & Optimisation: Clear, proactive reporting on e-commerce metrics and the consistent execution of data-driven improvements.
  • **Who We Are Looking For**
  • You are a technically strong e-commerce operator who understands that performance lives in the details. You do not just maintain stores; you actively optimise them to drive revenue. You think in systems, care deeply about speed and scalability, and understand how small improvements across the digital funnel compound into major commercial gains.
  • You understand the nuances of selling both to consumers and clinical professionals. You are proactive, resourceful, and highly capable of bridging the gap between our marketing execution and our clinical operations to keep the revenue engine running smoothly.
  • **Essential Requirements**
  • Strong hands-on experience managing Shopify stores end-to-end (including apps, theme management, and backend architecture). Experience managing content management systems (Wix) seamlessly integrated with CRMS and e-commerce backends. Experience managing and optimising email marketing platforms (specifically Klaviyo). Solid understanding of e-commerce KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, revenue) and testing/CRO principles. Experience with automation tools (Shopify Flow, Zapier, specific CRM workflows) to keep operations lean. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable technical improvements.
  • **Highly Desirable**
  • Background in subscription-based e-commerce models. Experience in cross-border e-commerce (multi-region pricing, international shipping integrations like World Options). Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare, clinical aesthetics) and the associated data compliance requirements. Experience integrating complex CRMs with e-commerce platforms. Ability to collaborate with developers or make light code changes independently (e.g., HTML/CSS/Liquid).
  • **Salary Range: £50,000 – £65,000 FT / £25,000 – £35,000 PT**
