- **Ecommerce & Design Coordinator**
- Part-Time (Full-Time available for the right candidate) | In-Office | Immediate Start
- **ABOUT LEISURES**
- Leisures is a women's footwear and accessories brand with a proud history dating back to 1999. We're a family-run business built on a love of great footwear and a genuine commitment to making women feel great every day. We're a small, close-knit team who care deeply about our customers, our product, and each other.
- **ABOUT THE ROLE**
- This is a pivotal role sitting at the intersection of ecommerce strategy and creative execution. Based in Belrose, Sydney, and reporting directly to and working closely under the guidance of the Head of Marketing, you'll be the person who owns the Leisures website, keeping it accurate, optimised, and converting, while also bringing the Leisures brand to life visually across digital and print channels. Day to day you'll work alongside a Paid Media Manager and a Content Creator/Photographer, collaborating closely to bring campaigns to life across every channel.
- Leisures is experiencing immense online growth, making this an incredibly exciting time to be joining the team. This role is being offered on a part-time basis, with full-time hours available for the right candidate. This is a genuine opportunity to make your mark, take real ownership, and grow with a brand that is building something exciting. If you want a role where your work has a visible impact from day one, this is it.
- This is not a junior role and it's not purely a design role. We're looking for someone who is genuinely excited about ecommerce: someone who thinks about user experience, understands the path to purchase, and takes pride in a website that performs as well as it looks. Graphic design skills are essential, but they are one part of a much bigger remit.
- *The right candidate will have a pathway to grow into an Ecommerce Manager role, with full support from the Head of Marketing to build the skills and track record to get there.*
- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Ecommerce & Website Management**
- Own the day-to-day health of the Leisures website, ensuring all product data, imagery, copy, and pricing is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
- Manage SEO across the site: optimise product pages, metadata, site structure, and content to improve organic search performance, including optimising for AI-driven search and discovery.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve site conversion rate, working with the Head of Marketing to test and refine.
- Execute website updates efficiently in Shopify, including new product launches, collection edits, banner updates, landing pages, and promotional changes.
- Proactively flag opportunities to improve the user experience and support the customer's path to purchase.
- Contribute ideas and analysis to help grow the online business, bringing ecommerce thinking to team strategy conversations.
- **Email Marketing**
- Plan, design, and schedule weekly marketing emails in line with the broader campaign calendar.
- Write or adapt copy for EDMs, ensuring the tone is consistent with the Leisures brand voice.
- Monitor email performance and apply learnings to improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversions over time.
- **Graphic Design**
- Create on-brand digital assets for the website, social media, email campaigns, and paid advertising (ad statics).
- Produce physical store signage and printed graphics as required, liaising with print suppliers as needed.
- Work within Leisures' brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
- Bring fresh creative ideas to the team and stay across design trends relevant to the brand's aesthetic.
- **General & Team Contribution**
- Support the Head of Marketing with a range of tasks as the business requires. This team is small and everyone pitches in.
- Bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to take ownership of your work.
- Liaise with external suppliers (print houses, media channels) as directed.
- **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- **Skills & Experience**
- 1+ year of demonstrated experience in an ecommerce, digital marketing, or graphic design role.
- Shopify experience is essential. You should be comfortable making product, collection, and theme-level updates independently.
- Strong graphic design skills with hands-on experience in Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and on-page optimisation techniques.
- Klaviyo experience is essential. You should be confident building, scheduling, and analysing email campaigns end to end.
- An eye for detail. Accuracy in product data, imagery, and copy matters to you.
- **Attributes**
- Self-motivated and takes initiative. You know what needs doing and you get on with it.
- Eager to learn, grow, and adapt. You are comfortable with a role that evolves.
- A team player who's happy to help outside the edges of your job description when the business needs it.
- Genuine interest in ecommerce and digital performance, not just design execution.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball.
- Embraces AI as a tool for efficiency, creativity, and business growth. Not afraid to explore and apply new technologies in day-to-day work.
- **Bonus skills**
- Experience using Claude (Anthropic's AI) for content, workflow, or design tasks.
- **WHAT WE OFFER**
- A part-time role with full-time hours available for the right candidate, and a clear path to grow into an Ecommerce Manager position.
- A generous employee discount — because you should love what you wear.
- A close-knit, collaborative and fun family business environment where your contributions are seen, valued, and make a real difference.
- The chance to shape the digital presence of a brand with over 25 years of history and a loyal, passionate customer base.
- A fully in-office role based in Belrose, Sydney. Available for immediate start.
- Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 pro rata + super, based on experience.
- **HOW TO APPLY**
- If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply via Seek with your CV, a brief cover letter telling us why you're excited about this role, and a link to your portfolio or examples of your work. Ecommerce projects and/or design work both welcomed.
- We'll be reviewing applications as they come in, so don't wait. Apply early.
