- **Position Overview**
- Garrett Leight California Optical is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented eCommerce Coordinator to help manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of our direct-to-consumer business.
- This is a platform-focused role for someone who enjoys working inside ecommerce systems, maintaining product data, launching products, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience. While the role supports customer retention initiatives through email and SMS,
- **it is not a social media or content creation position**
- The primary focus is owning the operational excellence of our Shopify storefront and digital commerce ecosystem.
- Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Performance, you will work across Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, LoyaltyLion, NuOrder, and NetSuite while partnering closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, IT, and external development partners.
- This role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, improving systems, and catching the small details that create a seamless customer experience.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- ***Shopify & eCommerce Operations***
- \* Own the day-to-day administration of the Shopify storefront, including product setup, variants, collections, metafields, tags, SEO fields, pricing, imagery, and merchandising.
- \* Maintain a high level of accuracy across all product information, navigation, promotions, and customer-facing content.
- \* Support seasonal product launches, promotional campaigns, and new collection releases through thorough setup and quality assurance.
- \* Perform routine QA across desktop and mobile to identify merchandising issues, broken links, pricing discrepancies, inventory concerns, and user experience improvements.
- \* Administer Shopify apps, troubleshoot platform issues, and coordinate with development partners on enhancements and bug resolution.
- \* Support ongoing site optimization projects, A/B testing initiatives, and conversion rate improvements.
- ***Product Data & Platform Management***
- \* Help maintain accurate product information and inventory synchronization across Shopify, NuOrder, and NetSuite.
- \* Identify and resolve product data discrepancies, catalog issues, and platform inconsistencies.
- \* Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness with Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and IT.
- \* Maintain documentation of ecommerce processes, workflows, and best practices.
- ***CRM & Customer Retention***
- \* Build, launch, and maintain email campaigns and automated customer journeys within Klaviyo, including welcome series, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and replenishment flows.
- \* Execute SMS campaigns and customer journeys in Attentive.
- \* Support ongoing administration of the LoyaltyLion loyalty program, including rewards, tiers, promotions, and member communications.
- \* Build customer segments based on purchase behavior, lifecycle stage, engagement, and loyalty status.
- \* Execute A/B testing across email and SMS campaigns and document performance insights.
- \* Maintain deliverability standards, consent compliance, suppression lists, and lifecycle marketing best practices.
- ***Reporting & Performance***
- \* Maintain recurring ecommerce reporting including conversion rate, average order value, repeat purchase rate, email performance, SMS performance, loyalty engagement, and customer retention metrics.
- \* Monitor ecommerce site health and proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- \* Support ad hoc reporting and performance analysis across the ecommerce business.
- **Qualifications**
- \* 2-4 years of experience supporting ecommerce operations, Shopify administration, digital merchandising, or a related ecommerce role.
- \* Hands-on experience with Shopify is required, including product management, collections, metafields, merchandising, and app administration.
- \*
Experience with klaviyo is required
- \* Experience with Attentive, LoyaltyLion, NuOrder, NetSuite, or similar ecommerce platforms is a plus.
- \* Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new ecommerce platforms and systems.
- \* Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify issues before they reach customers.
- \* Highly organized with excellent project management and follow-through skills.
- \* Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- \* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- \* Experience in fashion, luxury, eyewear, apparel, or consumer products is preferred.
