• You climb by taking ownership of more projects and delivering results for clients — not by waiting for someone above you to leave. Raise your hand in writing for more ownership. We give it to the people who deliver, in increments of 5 projects.
• **What you’ll own**
• Daily client communication and relationship ownership
• Project oversight, timelines, and coordination with our design + development team
• Final quality assurance before anything ships to a merchant
• Reporting, documentation, and solving problems before they escalate
• You start by supporting senior managers, then progress to full solo ownership of mid-market → large → enterprise Shopify Plus accounts.
• **Hours**
• L1–L3: Strict Monday–Friday, 9–5 Eastern Time. No nights. No weekends.
• L4–L5: Same core hours + limited emergency coverage on certain high-stakes projects (we are actively building AI agents to take over this coverage).
• **Who this is for**
• You know Shopify deeply (themes, apps, checkout, admin, and enough technical depth to work directly with developers)
• You have managed clients or projects before — or you’re a sharp junior who learns extremely fast and is honest about it
• You communicate clearly, quickly, and directly (in writing and on calls)
• You want your compensation tied to performance
• You are an A-player who never gives up on a project, a client, or a teammate
• B-players and politics-driven people need not apply. One A-player carries more than a team of five average performers.
• **The deal**
• 100% remote (work from anywhere as long as you operate on Eastern Time)
• Independent contractor (invoice monthly in USD)
• Guaranteed base + commission on projects you solely own
• Additional sales commissions + $100–$250 bonuses for every 5-star client review
• 22 paid business days off per year (after 6 months)
• 30-day paid evaluation period for both sides
• You report to the founders
