- We're looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Operations Manager to own the end-to-end operational backbone of our online business -- from warehouse to doorstep. You'll lead our logistics strategy, manage domestic and international shipping programs, oversee inventory across channels, and help lay the groundwork for EU and UK market expansion.
- WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Warehousing: Oversee domestic fulfillment operations and help evaluate future EU/UK infrastructure
- Shipping & Logistics: Manage carrier relationships, SLAs, and international shipping programs
- Inventory: Own stock levels, forecasting, replenishment, and accuracy across all channels
- Operations Software: Own OMS, WMS, and shipping platform integrations
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day operations across fulfillment, shipping, and logistics -- ensuring orders ship on time and SLAs are met across DTC and marketplace channels
- Own end-to-end inventory management -- including demand forecasting, replenishment planning, stock accuracy, and cycle counts across all warehouses and sales channels
- Maintain healthy inventory levels across Shopify, Amazon FBA/FBM, and 3PL locations -- minimizing both stockouts and excess carrying costs
- Manage international shipping to EU and UK markets -- including cross-border compliance, duties/VAT, and carrier selection
- Help evaluate and potentially build out EU/UK fulfillment infrastructure over time -- including researching 3PL partners and regional logistics options to support future growth
- Manage and improve the operations tech stack (OMS, WMS, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, shipping software, automation tools) -- evaluate vendors and drive integrations
- Build and report on KPIs covering inventory accuracy, fulfillment performance, delivery SLAs, cost per shipment, and returns rate
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing to align inventory and operational capacity with demand forecasts and campaigns
- Manage vendor and carrier relationships -- negotiate rates, resolve escalations, and evaluate new partners as needed
- REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years in ecommerce or omnichannel operations, with direct responsibility for fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management
- Demonstrated experience owning inventory across multiple channels -- forecasting, replenishment, cycle counts, and reconciliation
- Proven experience with international shipping -- ideally including cross-border shipping to EU and/or UK post-Brexit, including VAT, IOSS, and customs documentation
- Familiarity with 3PL management and/or experience evaluating and onboarding regional fulfillment partners
- Hands-on Shopify experience in an operations context -- managing orders, apps, fulfillment workflows, and integrations at scale
- Amazon marketplace experience -- including Seller Central operations, FBA/FBM management, listing health, and order fulfillment workflows
- Advanced Excel proficiency -- comfortable building and maintaining complex spreadsheets for inventory tracking, reporting, and operational analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Experience with other ecommerce operations software -- WMS, OMS, or shipping platforms (e.g. ShipBob, Flexport)
- Strong data literacy -- comfortable building dashboards, tracking KPIs, and using data to diagnose problems and prioritize improvements
- Excellent project management and communication skills -- able to coordinate across teams and manage vendors simultaneously
- NICE TO HAVE
- Hands-on experience with ShipStation for multi-carrier shipping management and order routing
- Prior experience evaluating or standing up EU or UK-based 3PL partnerships
- Experience with DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping models or OSS/IOSS registration
- Comfort evaluating and implementing new operational tooling or automation
- Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
