• **Technical Project Manager / eCommerce SEO Specialist**
• to join our Melbourne team immediately.

The role

• Joining the Dots for Our Clients
• **As an eCommerce SEO Specialist at Megantic, you are the client’s ultimate go-to expert. You won’t just be running audits in the background; you will own the client relationship, design the 12-month rolling SEO strategy, and project manage its execution alongside our global teams.**
• **Your week will balance deep technical execution with high-impact client communication, ensuring every initiative drives real bottom-line revenue.**
• Key Responsibilities
• **SEO & AEO Project Management:**
• Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month program of work for a dedicated portfolio of eCommerce clients.
• **Client Consultation & Partnership:**
• Act as the trusted advisor. Present performance data, translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights, and proactively pick up the phone to share wins or spot risks early.
• **Technical Execution:**
• Deep dive into site architecture, crawling/indexing budgets, schema markup, internal linking, page speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• **Platform Optimization:**
• Identify and navigate the specific benefits and constraints of major platforms like Shopify, Magento 2, WooCommerce, and Neto/Maropost, as well as headless commerce/PWA frameworks.
• **Global Collaboration:**
• Partner with content, dev, and internal teams across our global network (including our UK, Canada, and Macedonia offices).
• What We Are Looking For (Must-Haves)
• **We need someone who can confidently step into the role from Day 1. You will be a perfect fit if you have:**
• **Be in Melbourne:**
• This is Melbourne based role with 3 days in person in office, if you can't see that work for you, please don't apply, save everyone time
• **2+ years of proven SEO experience**
• with a heavy focus on eCommerce or online retail environments.
• **Strong Client-Facing Skills:**
• Experience managing clients, setting expectations, and presenting to stakeholders.
• **Technical Literacy:**
• Ability to read and understand
• **HTML, CSS, and JavaScript**
• alongside tools like GSC, GA4, Looker Studio, GTM, and Screaming Frog.
• **Commercially Driven Mindset:**
• You understand that SEO isn't just about traffic—it's about driving conversions and revenue.
