Responsibilities
- Payments & Payroll
- Make timely payments to vendors, suppliers, shipping partners, and supply chain personnel.
- Handle payroll processes, including salaries in Pakistan, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Process payments to creators and influencers based on agreed terms.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and maintain profit and loss statements for the business.
- Track and analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS), including landed costs for inventory.
- Monitor and report on business cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Operational Finance
- Pay Amazon and Facebook advertising fees and other marketing-related expenses.
- Transfer funds between accounts to ensure smooth business operations.
- Keep a tab on petty cash and handle small-scale expenses.
- Forecasting & Analysis
- Create cash flow forecasts and growth projections to support business planning.
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to align financial forecasts with inventory needs.
- Provide actionable insights to optimize costs and improve profitability.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Reconcile accounts and manage end-of-month and year-end financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of cost tracking, inventory management, and landed costs.
- Proficiency in financial tools and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel).
- Knowledge of E-Commerce Finance
- Familiarity with handling payments for Amazon and Facebook advertising fees.
- Experience working with vendors and suppliers in international markets like China, Pakistan, and Taiwan.
- Strong analytical skills to manage cash flow and create accurate financial forecasts.
