- **DNM Digital - Sydney, hybrid - Full time**
- Most paid media jobs in 2026 look exactly like they did in 2020. Pull the report, update the spreadsheet, adjust the bids, write the recap, repeat.
- This one does not.
- At DNM Digital every paid media specialist works inside their own AI "brain" - a Claude Code environment wired directly into the Google Ads API, the Meta API, GA4, BigQuery, Google Sheets, HubSpot and our project management stack. Audits, budget pacing checks, search term analysis, creative performance reporting, campaign builds: they run as agent workflows you build, not as an afternoon of manual work.
- We are looking for someone junior to mid level who wants to learn to work that way. Not someone who has done it before, because almost nobody has. Someone hungry enough to want to be one of the first.
- **What you would actually do**
- Run day-to-day Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across a portfolio of clients: e-commerce, lead gen, local service
- Build and launch new campaigns using our agent-driven build process, from keyword research through to ad copy and QA
- Analyse performance and turn it into a clear recommendation the client can act on
- Own client reporting, pacing and the "what changed and why" conversation
- Build your own Claude Code skills, agents and commands so the work you did manually last month runs itself next month
- Sit in on and eventually lead client calls
- **Why this role is different**
- You will spend your first months learning Claude Code properly. That means:
- Writing skills and agents that pull live data straight from ad platform APIs
- Context engineering as a daily craft: feeding an agent the right account data, client history and guardrails so its answer is one you would put in front of a client
- Light scripting and working with APIs, taught on the job, no CS degree needed
- Building tools the rest of the agency uses
- Luke (Head of Paid Media + AI) has built the systems this team runs on and will teach you directly. You get access to Claude, the internal brain, our full skill library and real client accounts to apply it all to.
- Two things worth being honest about. First, the AI does not replace the thinking. You still need to know why a campaign is underperforming. The tooling removes the grunt work so you can spend your time on the judgement calls. Second, this compounds. In twelve months you will have a skill set that very few paid media people in this market have, and it will follow you everywhere.
- **What we are looking for**
- **Must have:**
- At least 1 year of hands-on paid media experience inside a digital marketing agency
- Practical experience running Google Ads and/or Meta Ads yourself, not just observing
- Genuine comfort with numbers. You can look at a performance table and spot what matters
- Clear written communication. A lot of this job is explaining things simply
- Curiosity about AI and a real appetite to learn it properly
- Full working rights in Australia
- **Nice to have:**
- GA4, Google Tag Manager or conversion tracking exposure
- Shopify, WooCommerce or e-commerce account experience
- Any exposure to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or similar as a working tool rather than a toy
- Any scripting at all: Python, JavaScript, Apps Script, even copied and pasted
- **What we are not looking for**
- Someone who wants to stay in their lane. The tooling changes every few months here. If that sounds exhausting rather than exciting, this will not be a fit.
- **About DNM Digital**
- We are a Sydney performance marketing agency running paid media advertising, SEO & web. The paid media team is small and onshore, so you get real ownership from the start rather than sitting three layers away from the client.
- **To apply**
- Apply through LinkedIn with your CV, and in your message answer the questions below in a few sentences:
- **Tell us about one thing in your current job you would automate first, and roughly how you would go about it.**
- **What resources/experts do you look to to learn more about PPC & digital marketing strategy?**
- We will read those answers before we read your CV.
