  • *In this role the Paid Media Specialist will be reporting to our Digital Marketing Manager, guided by the Head of Brand & Marketing and CEO,*
  • to take full ownership of executing Gem’s paid advertising channels across AU, UK, and US markets.
  • In this role, you’ll plan, execute, and optimise campaigns that attract and convert customers across digital platforms - combining performance insight with creative execution. This role goes beyond execution. You’ll play a key part in shaping how paid media drives sustainable, long-term growth, balancing immediate performance outcomes with the development of brand equity over time.
  • **Key Responsibilities**
  • Execute and optimise paid media campaigns across Google, Meta, Pinterest, Reddit, and TikTok across AU, UK, and US markets
  • Own day-to-day campaign optimisation, continuously improving reach, CPM, ROAS, and engagement
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in developing and activating full-funnel media strategies across awareness, consideration, and conversion
  • Build, manage, and scale audiences using first-party data and advanced targeting strategies
  • Conduct audience, keyword, and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Manage and allocate budgets across channels and regions, balancing short-term efficiency with long-term impact
  • Partner closely with creative and brand teams to ensure campaigns are both performance-driven and brand-aligned
  • Lead structured A/B testing across creative and messaging, delivering data-backed insights to inform creative direction
  • Monitor performance and deliver actionable insights, with a focus on optimisation and future strategy — not just reporting
  • Stay ahead of platform developments, emerging channels, and industry best practices
  • **Experience & Knowledge**
  • Deep expertise in paid media strategy and execution across meta, Tiktok, Google, Youtube and other relevant platforms.
  • Experience scaling paid campaigns for consumer brands in either agency roles or client-side.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimising toward commercial outcomes (CPA, ROAS, CAC).
  • Hands on experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads manager, Tiktok Ads manager & reporting.
  • Understanding of the full digital customer journey, including acquisition, conversion and post-purchase optimisation.
  • Knowledge of emerging digital trends, tool and platforms to drive innovative growth.
