- We are looking for an experienced
- **QA Lead**
- with strong communication skills and hands-on expertise in driving quality engineering for large-scale
- **retail**
- and
- **e-commerce platforms**
- The ideal candidate is based in
- **Costa Rica or Mexico**
- can work closely with U.S. stakeholders, and has a proven background in leading QA teams, defining test strategies, and ensuring high-quality releases across web, mobile, and API channels.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- Lead QA activities across sprints including planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
- Define and implement test strategies for web, mobile, and backend/API applications.
- Work directly with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders—must communicate clearly and proactively.
- Oversee and guide the QA team (onshore/offshore) on test coverage, prioritization, and defect management.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables for retail/e-commerce flows: cart/checkout, payments, promotions, search, PDP, order management, etc.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive root-cause analysis for production defects and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Prepare daily/weekly QA metrics and sprint signoff documents.
- **Required Skills & Experience**
- **5–8+ years**
- of QA experience with at least
- **2+ years in a Lead role**
- Strong experience in
- **retail/e-commerce**
- testing (web + mobile).
- Excellent
- **written and verbal communication skills**
- ability to talk directly with U.S. clients.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and frontend/web testing.
- Sound understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and QE best practices.
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, Confluence, Zephyr, or similar tools.
- Ability to create/maintain test plans, test cases, and QA documentation.
- Good understanding of automation concepts; coding is a plus (Java/Python preferred).
