- **The Role**
- We’re hiring a Senior PPC Manager / Strategist to own advertising across our Amazon portfolio and build the systems to run it at scale. You’ll manage 7 Amazon accounts, roughly 700 campaigns, and tens of thousands of keywords and targets. That’s 1,000+ SKUs across three marketplaces (US, CA, UK).
- Manual, once-a-week management doesn’t work at this scale. A keyword spending $100 a day can’t wait for a weekly review. We need someone who runs PPC through software and systems, not manual edits.
- You’ll report to the Head of Amazon. You’ll work closely with Brand Management, Revenue Operations, and SEO so ad strategy tracks launches, listings, pricing, and inventory. We already have a PPC Manager on the team. Depending on fit, you may manage and develop that person as you build the function for scale.
- **What You’ll Do**
- Own PPC strategy and performance across the portfolio. That covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP where it applies, across US, CA, and UK.
- Run the portfolio through PPC automation software. We use
- **Scale Insights**
- You’ll build and maintain the rules for bidding, budget pacing, dayparting, harvesting, and negation. High-spend targets get actioned the day they move, not next week.
- Manage bids and budget to target. Every campaign type earns its bid, broad and auto included, so it runs at or below our ACoS target. Put the budget where it converts. Keep harvesting and negating so spend concentrates on winning terms as volume grows.
- Build monitoring and alerting that catches problems within a day, not a week. A campaign going dark. An outage. A spend spike. A conversion drop. We shouldn’t find out because someone happened to run a report.
- Ramp fast on new and acquired brands. Learn an unfamiliar product line, catalog, and competitive set quickly, then turn it into a clean ad structure.
- Set portfolio and brand targets with the Head of Amazon and Brand Management (ACoS, TACoS, CTR, CVR), then own the roadmap to hit them.
- Lead PPC for new-product launches, from keyword research to campaign structure.
- Evaluate, onboard, and roll out new PPC and analytics tools. Train the team on the workflows.
- Report performance and strategy to the Head of Amazon and leadership. Keep it clear and short.
- Keep testing and refining bidding, structure, and budget allocation across brands.
- **What We’re Looking For**
- 5+ years running Amazon PPC hands-on, ideally across multiple brands or a large multi-SKU portfolio.
- Proven at real scale: hundreds of campaigns and tens of thousands of targets, run through automation rather than manual edits. Hands-on
- **Scale Insights**
- experience is a strong plus. Deep experience with a comparable rules-based platform (Perpetua, Adtomic, Sellozo, or similar) is required.
- A clear point of view on campaign structure, bid-to-target discipline, and budget allocation across match types. Bring the numbers that show you held ACoS at target while scaling.
- Exceptional with numbers. You can reason about marginal ACoS, incrementality, and unit economics, not just read a dashboard. Expect a live analytical exercise in the process.
- Fluent in Amazon Ads campaign types, bidding strategies, and Seller Central / Advertising Console reporting, plus BI and reporting tools.
- You use AI tools to speed up and sharpen analysis, reporting, research, and automation.
- Ownership mindset. You catch problems before they’re reported and fix them without being told.
- Organized, and comfortable juggling many brands and marketplaces at once.
- **Nice to Have**
- Multi-brand or brand-aggregator experience.
- SQL or BI tools (Hex, Looker Studio) for deeper analysis.
- Built PPC monitoring, alerting, or reporting automation from scratch before.
