- **Position Overview**
- The Senior Digital Operations & Site Merchandising Manager leads and optimizes the end-to-end digital asset workflow and drives APAC site visual merchandising vision and strategy to support eCommerce growth in the region. The role manages regional product asset and data feeds, ensures regional needs are identified and implemented, and achieves site merchandising excellence that is globally aligned yet regionally relevant. This position partners with cross-functional teams across Ralph Lauren, including global studios, APAC merchandising, regional and global Digital Technology, regional eCommerce teams, and external vendors.
- **Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Responsibilities:**
- Lead product data and back-end system enhancement projects in partnership with regional and global tech teams, ensuring alignment with global standards and local needs.
- Drive operational process optimization to minimize manual tasks and automate data flows, leveraging global initiatives and AI tools.
- Manage the eCommerce product digital asset E2E cycle and master data flow for all seasonal offerings across
Apac
- Develop, own and evaluate eCommerce asset operation SOPs with internal and external partners, optimizing workflows while mapping technical dependencies.
- Liaise with global studios to validate and influence regional digital asset production and delivery plans.
- Lead high-priority global and regional projects/initiatives related to asset production and delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams at the global level.
- Lead localization projects for site launches and locale expansion from a translation perspective, overseeing end-to-end steps from talent onboarding, style guides, glossaries, translation memory, to project delivery.
- Continuously streamline product asset data flows; redesign DAM & PIM workstreams to improve operational excellence and data accuracy.
- Define and track KPIs related to asset readiness, data accuracy, automation adoption, and site merchandising effectiveness.
- Maintain awareness of industry AI tools and assess their adoption to enhance data and asset operational processes.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and vendor performance, implementing continuous improvements for future cycles.
- Establish APAC site visual merchandising principles and strategy, informed by best practices from NA and
Emea
- Serve as APAC POD lead in the product discovery POD to represent APAC in global workstreams.
- Project manage APAC rollouts for site-merch related global projects, such as product recommendation tool enhancements and on-site search improvements.
- Drive country connectivity to ensure all APAC sites deliver a comprehensive and cohesive product discovery journey.
- Establish a site merchandising data analytics framework to share with country stakeholders and continuously identify enhancement opportunities based on data metrics.
- Provide ongoing coaching and leadership to the team, promoting a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop team members, setting clear career development paths and maintaining high standards of excellence.
- **Experience, Skills, and Knowledge**
- **Requirements:**
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and efficient communication skills, a self-starter willing to take up new challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skill is a must, additional Mandarin Chinese / Japanese and/or Korean (both written and verbal) language proficiency is a strong plus
- Studio production or digital asset production experience is a strong plus
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience of product data management, digital asset production or/and digital merchandising, and localization/translations projects is a must
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a similar industry/position in corporate environment
- Excellent understanding of retail & eCommerce landscape and technology ecosystem
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
