- you will own and drive the performance of McGraw Hill’s marketplace business. You will identify growth opportunities, plan and execute sales strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and marketplace partners to maximize visibility, conversions, and revenue. Your work will directly contribute to increasing market share and delivering strong return on investment across our e-commerce channels.
- **What will you be doing?**
- Drive sales growth and market share across key e-commerce platforms with a focus on efficiency and ROI
- Plan and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets aligned with business goals
- Build and manage strong relationships with marketplace teams and selling partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Manage demand forecasting, inventory planning, and execute promotional campaigns to drive sell-through
- Monitor and resolve issues related to piracy, counterfeit listings, and marketplace hygiene to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations to align on strategy and execution
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure smooth processes across billing, supply, payments, returns, and reconciliation
- Track marketplace trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities
- **We are looking for someone having:**
- A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or certifications in marketing/analytics/management preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, B2C/D2C sales, or business development
- Proven track record of driving online sales through marketplace platforms
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and their business models
- Experience in data analysis, market research, and building actionable growth plans
- Exposure to publishing, education, or edtech sectors is a plus
