- **About the Role:**
- This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced e-commerce professional to join the Bydee team as our Senior E-commerce Specialist, playing a key role in supporting the continued growth of our global online business.
- Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Senior E-commerce Specialist is responsible for optimising the online customer journey to increase conversion, engagement and website traffic. They will work closely with the broader marketing team to execute website content, merchandising and email campaigns that align with Bydee’s wider marketing calendar and digital strategy.
- **Responsibilities Include:**
- Work cross-functionally with the E-commerce Developer to manage Bydee’s two Shopify Plus stores.
- Lead and drive a seamless and frictionless onsite customer journey and user experience by optimising website usability, pre and post-purchase experience and ensuring that all online branded and promotional content uploaded is in line with brand guidelines.
- Maximise conversion, engagement and revenue through product merchandising, category and collection merchandising, on-site search optimisation, navigation and up-sell opportunities.
- Create, test and execute promotions, product launches and website updates accurately and on time to drive conversion.
- Ownership and maintenance of all product data across the Bydee websites, ensuring the product is accurate, categorised, and launched according to the marketing plans and strategy.
- Manage photoshoot campaign uploads to the Bydee website in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Assistant.
- Work cross-functionally with the GM and DMM to identify low-performing products and identify merchandising opportunities and image changes to increase sales performance.
- Work cross-functionally with DMM and E-commerce Developer to ensure smooth end-to-end launches regarding projects, theme updates and app implementations/upgrades.
- Perform weekly website audits, testing and troubleshooting to ensure content is accurate and address any areas that impact customer experience.
- Track, monitor, analyse, review and report the website's effectiveness and campaign performance on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis in line with KPIs and identify opportunities for future optimisations/campaigns.
- Work cross-functionally with an external SEO agency to conduct keyword and SEO research and implement the SEO strategy on Bydee’s website.
- Manage the email marketing plans and activities while ensuring they are developed, executed and aligned with the marketing plans and goals.
- Manage, plan, prepare, coordinate and execute EDM copy, briefs and collateral to ensure delivery in full, on time, and in line with brand guidelines.
- Management of testing, building and deployment of emails, ensuring lodgement is accurate and all campaigns go live as per their scheduled launch dates.
- Manage, develop, implement and optimise lifecycle email marketing to acquire new customers and nurture and retain existing email databases.
- Track, monitor, analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of the EDM campaigns on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis in line with KPIs and identify opportunities for future optimisations.
- Keep up to date on the e-commerce and EDM technologies, competitor activity, trends and marketing campaigns.
