- At Klaviyo, we value the unique backgrounds, experiences and perspectives each Klaviyo (we call ourselves Klaviyos) brings to our workplace each and every day. We believe everyone deserves a fair shot at success and appreciate the experiences each person brings beyond the traditional job requirements. If you’re a close but not exact match with the description, we hope you’ll still consider applying. Want to learn more about life at Klaviyo? Visit klaviyo.com/careers to see how we empower creators to own their own destiny. This is a leadership role for someone who has built and scaled partner operations before- not just run them. You'll own the function, shape the team, and set the direction for how Klaviyo's global partner ecosystem operates at scale.
- About the Role
- Klaviyo's partner ecosystem- spanning agency, technology, and strategic alliances- is a meaningful and growing lever in our go-to-market motion. As Senior Manager of Partner Operations, you'll lead the team and infrastructure that make that ecosystem perform. You'll define how we measure partner success, design the systems that support it, and work across leadership in Sales, Marketing, Product, and CS to keep the partner motion aligned with Klaviyo's broader growth strategy. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on partnership strategy, not just its execution. The right person brings a track record of building teams and programs in complex, fast-moving environments- and the instinct to know when to lead from the front and when to develop others to own the work.
- What You'll Own
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop a team responsible for partner operations, analytics, and program management- setting a high bar for execution and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor to VP-level partnership leaders, bringing your own point of view on priorities, tradeoffs, and long-term direction.
- Build the team and function to match Klaviyo's growth- defining roles, hiring, and developing talent to stay ahead of demand.
- Operational Strategy & Systems
- Set the strategic direction for partner operations infrastructure — including onboarding, co-selling, enablement, and lifecycle workflows — and hold the team accountable for execution.
- Define partner tiering frameworks, incentive models, and program architecture that scale without sacrificing partner experience.
- Ensure partner motions are embedded in core GTM systems and reporting alongside CS Ops, Sales Ops, and Marketing Ops.
- Champion AI-first ways of working: identify where automation and intelligent tooling can fundamentally change how the team operates.
- Insights, Planning & Executive Communication
- Own the annual planning process for the partnerships team- headcount, quota, territory design, and compensation- in close partnership with Finance and Revenue Operations.
- Define the metrics that matter for partner performance and pipeline contribution, and lead the rhythm of MBR/QBR reporting with a clear, data-driven narrative.
- Translate partner ecosystem performance into insights that shape strategic decisions at the executive level.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Align and influence across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and GTM Operations- building the relationships and trust that make cross-functional programs actually land.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as new market entry, vertical expansion, and partner-led Co-marketing- from framing to execution.
- What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in partner/channel operations, GTM strategy, or revenue operations in high-growth B2B SaaS- with at least 3–5 years leading teams, not just contributing to them.
- A demonstrated track record of building programs and functions, not just inheriting and optimizing them.
- Experience owning planning processes (headcount, quota, territory) and working closely with Finance and senior GTM leadership.
- Strong executive presence: you can walk into a room with a CRO or CPO and shape the conversation, not just support it.
- Deep understanding of partner program design — tiering, incentives, co-sell motions and the operational systems that underpin them (Salesforce, PRM platforms, BI tools)
- Analytically sharp and data-fluent: you build the models that inform strategy, and you know how to tell the story behind the numbers.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and proven ability to make decisions with incomplete information in a fast-moving environment.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and its role in transforming operations — you've experimented, you have a point of view, and you're ready to embed it in how your team works.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
- You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
