- **About the role**
- We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our growing SEO and Technical team. This is a hands-on, generalist role covering technical SEO, on-page and content optimisation, and the emerging field of GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation / LLM visibility). You will work across a portfolio of clients, splitting your time between execution and direct client interaction, with the support of senior specialists and the team lead.
- This role suits someone who is curious about how search is evolving, comfortable getting into the technical detail, and ready to take ownership of accounts.
- **Key responsibilities**
- Run end-to-end SEO for assigned client accounts: audits, keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical fixes, and ongoing performance tracking.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and crawl analysis, identify issues, and write clear, prioritised recommendations for clients and internal teams.
- Optimise content and page structure for both traditional search and AI-driven answer engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and similar).
- Track and report on brand and content visibility across LLM and generative search surfaces.
- Build and present monthly performance reports using GA4 and Google Search Console data.
- Support and join client calls, present findings, and translate SEO concepts into clear business language for both Cantonese and English speaking stakeholders.
- Collaborate with content, dev, and paid media teams to implement recommendations.
- Use automation and AI tools to speed up research, reporting, and content workflows.
- Keep up with algorithm updates, GEO/LLM developments, and industry best practice.
- **Requirements**
- Around 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English, with the confidence to handle client communication in both.
- Solid working knowledge of technical SEO (crawling, indexation, site structure, Core Web Vitals, structured data).
- Proficiency with Ahrefs or SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Google Search Console.
- Comfortable working with AI and automation tools to support research and reporting
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight.
- Well organised, able to manage several accounts and deadlines at once.
- **Nice to have**
- Early exposure to GEO / LLM visibility work or a genuine interest in the space.
- Experience with content briefs and on-page content optimisation.
- Familiarity with international or multilingual SEO (hreflang, multi-market setups).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript as it relates to
