- **Role Description**
- This full-time on-site Shopify Developer role at Abacaxi Group is based in Luján de Cuyo. The Shopify Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify storefronts, including themes, templates, and apps. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive UI/UX designs, optimizing site performance, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. The role involves integrating third-party services, configuring payment and shipping settings, and maintaining data integrity across the ecommerce ecosystem. The Shopify Developer collaborates closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to support new feature development, troubleshoot issues, and deliver a stable, scalable online shopping experience.
- **Qualifications**
- Strong experience with Shopify platform development, including Liquid templates, theme customization, and app configuration.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience with ecommerce best practices, including site performance optimization, SEO fundamentals, and conversion-oriented
Ui/ux
- Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party services (payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics, and marketing tools).
- Comfort with version control systems, collaborative development workflows, and debugging tools.
- Ability to gather requirements, estimate tasks, document solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience in an on-site development role or similar position supporting ecommerce businesses is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
