- For 30 years, Monsieur Marcel has been one of LA's most beloved gourmet food destinations at The Original Farmers Market — imported cheeses, charcuterie, seafood, wine, specialty pantry items and homewares from around the world. Our Shopify store has doubled in sales two years running, and we're building the team to match that growth.
- This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity in a business that is genuinely scaling.
- **A day in this role:**
- Review overnight Shopify orders, coordinate the fulfillment team, troubleshoot a shipping exception,
- update product listings
- and help a customer track down a cheese shipment — all before lunch.
- **What you'll own:**
- Shopify Admin: product listings, collections, inventory, variants, and tags
- Order management, fulfillment workflow, and shipping integrations.
- Supervising and training e-commerce team members
- Customer communication on orders, shipping, and availability
- Online merchandising and seasonal promotions
- Spotting operational gaps and fixing them
- **What we're looking for:**
- Hands-on Shopify Admin experience — product management, orders, and inventory
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience
- Comfortable moving between Shopify and a physical fulfillment environment
- Strong communicator, highly organized, and proactive
- Specialty retail, gourmet food, or DTC e-commerce background is a plus
