- **Technical E-Commerce Product Developer**
- to turn the patented concept into a functional proof-of-concept and MVP plug-in.
- The solution is intended for enterprise clients, with an initial focus on
- **retail e-commerce, hospitality, and Shopify-based businesses**
- The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development skills with experience building e-commerce plug-ins, integrations, or similar website functionality.
- **Responsibilities**
- Develop a functional
- **proof-of-concept and MVP e-commerce plug-in**
- based on the company's patented solution.
- Translate the patented concept and business requirements into technical requirements and a practical product architecture.
- Design and build the core functionality required to demonstrate the solution in a real-world e-commerce environment.
- Develop integrations with existing e-commerce platforms, with an emphasis on
- **Shopify**
- Ensure the plug-in integrates effectively with relevant transaction and checkout workflows.
- Identify technical requirements, dependencies, limitations, and potential integration challenges.
- Test and troubleshoot the MVP to ensure reliability, usability, and performance.
- Recommend technical improvements and a development roadmap for moving from proof-of-concept to a scalable commercial product.
- Collaborate closely with the company's leadership team throughout MVP development.
- Document the product architecture, integrations, and key technical decisions to support future development.
- **Qualifications**
- **Required**
- Demonstrated experience developing
- **e-commerce plug-ins, applications, integrations, or similar website functionality**
- Strong hands-on software development and product-building capabilities.
- Experience working with e-commerce transaction flows, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Ability to take an early-stage concept from technical requirements through a working proof-of-concept.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in an early-stage environment.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Preferred**
- Experience developing
- **Shopify apps, plug-ins, or integrations**
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and the broader Shopify ecosystem.
- Experience with
- **retail e-commerce or hospitality e-commerce**
- platforms and transaction processes.
- Previous experience building MVPs or proof-of-concept products for startups or early-stage technology companies.
- Experience designing products or integrations intended for enterprise customers.
