  • **Description**
  • We are looking for a Trainee Integration Engineer who will join our team and grow into an Integration Engineer specializing in Boomi, eCommerce integrations, and AI-powered solutions.
  • You will have an opportunity to learn Boomi, Shopify, REST APIs, webhooks, data transformation, integration patterns, and AI/LLM technologies, while working on a practical end-to-end demo rather than isolated training tasks. You will also use AI tools such as Claude to accelerate development and explore how AI can be embedded directly into integration and eCommerce scenarios.
  • **Requirements**
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts
  • Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP
  • Basic knowledge of JSON
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and experiment with new tools
  • Good English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on small tasks and ask questions when needed
  • *Nice to have*
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or another programming language
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Basic understanding of Generative AI / LLMs
  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with Shopify or another eCommerce platform
  • Understanding of webhooks
  • Any experience with integration platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, Zapier, or similar
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD
  • Job responsibilities
  • Learn the fundamentals of Boomi, AI-powered integrations, and integration architecture
  • Build and maintain integration flows in Boomi
  • Integrate Shopify with external systems using APIs and webhooks
  • Work with JSON/XML and transform data between different systems
  • Implement simple business scenarios and AI-powered use cases
  • Use AI tools such as Claude to accelerate development, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation
  • Explore and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into eCommerce and integration scenarios
  • Investigate integration failures and troubleshoot API/integration issues
  • Prepare technical documentation for implemented integrations
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and the project/solution team
  • Gradually take ownership of individual integration components and contribute to the client-facing demo / PoC
