- **Company Description**
- We are a prestige beauty and cosmetics brand with a cult following and global reach. We move fast, care deeply about craft, and are building a team of people who thrive when they own their work end-to-end.
- This role sits at the center of our digital business. You'll report directly to the Director of E-Commerce and Digital, working closely with Marketing, Creative, Business Planning, Finance, and our Customer
Experience partner
- It's a lean, high-impact team — what you build here will be visible immediately.
- **Role Description**
- We're looking for an E-Commerce Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our digital storefront and marketplace operations. This person keeps the machine running: accurate site merchandising, flawless promotional execution, reliable order flow, and proactive problem-solving across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop.
- This is a mid-level role ideal for someone who is detail-obsessed, deeply curious about how digital commerce works, and energized by wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving, startup-like environment.
- **What You'll Own**
- **Site Execution & Catalog Management**
- **Manage Daily Operations:**
- Execute day-to-day site merchandising, ensuring the global product catalog is accurate, categorized correctly, and fully optimized.
- **Execute the Promotional Calendar:**
- Build, schedule, and QA all discount codes, sales events, and site-wide promotions across the promotional calendar.
- **Maintain Digital Assets:**
- Refresh homepage banners, product imagery, and collection pages in alignment with the merchandising and marketing calendars (assets provided by Creative to fit existing templates — no coding required).
- **Coordinate Creative Deliverables:**
- Generate and manage detailed asset checklists for the Creative team to ensure all site, email, and marketplace imagery is delivered on time.
- **Inventory, Marketplaces & Fulfillment**
- **Monitor Inventory Sync:**
- Partner daily with Business Planning to monitor in-stock levels and update the site proactively to prevent overselling and manage waitlists.
- **Operate TikTok Shop:**
- Run day-to-day TikTok Shop operations including but not limited to merchandising and performance tracking.
- **Support Third-party Operations:**
- Serve as the primary internal liaison to any other third party platform, supplying assets, communicating promotional setups, and aligning inventory with the broader business plan.
- **Oversee Order Routing:**
- Monitor daily order flow from Shopify and marketplaces to our 3PL partners, troubleshooting sync errors and routing bottlenecks before they become customer problems.
- **Quality Assurance, Reporting & Customer Support**
- **Lead QA Testing:**
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device QA testing ahead of every product launch, site update, or promotional event.
- **Generate Performance Reporting:**
- Pull daily and weekly analytics from Shopify, GA4, Amazon, and TikTok to support financial reviews and business planning cadences.
- **Serve as CX Escalation Point:**
- Act as the internal escalation contact for our Customer Experience partner on ecommerce issues related to shipping delays, promo code bugs, and checkout errors.
- **Funnel Product Feedback:**
- Synthesize on-site search data, customer reviews, and CX feedback into periodic insight reports for the New Product Development team.
- **What We're Looking For**
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, specifically running a brand site.
- Hands-on Shopify experience is required; familiarity with TikTok Shop is preferred.
- Comfortable pulling and interpreting data from GA4, Shopify analytics, or comparable platforms.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to operate with autonomy and manage competing priorities.
- Must be based in the New York City metro area and willing to commute to our NYC office.
- **Bonus Points**
- Experience with 3PL operations or order management workflows.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- **Compensation & Benefits**
- Base Salary: $95,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
- Discretionary annual bonus
- Health, vision and dental insurance
- 401(k) plan
- Paid company holidays and PTO
- We are an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive workplace for all.
