- **About Lumiq**
- Lumiq is a digital marketing and technology agency helping businesses grow through SEO, paid

- We work with a mix of established brands, ecommerce businesses, automotive and caravan
- groups, service-based companies, community organisations and growing commercial
- businesses. Our focus is practical digital growth, clearer online visibility, better systems and
- stronger commercial outcomes for our clients.
- As Lumiq continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior SEO Executive to support the delivery
- of SEO, content, website optimisation and reporting across a diverse client portfolio.
- **About the Role**
- This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their digital marketing career who wants to
- build strong hands-on experience in SEO, website optimisation, content strategy, keyword
- research, reporting and digital growth.
- You will work closely with senior digital marketing team members to support SEO
- implementation, prepare keyword research, optimise website content, assist with technical
- checks, update reporting documents and help keep client SEO activity organised and moving
- forward.
- This is a junior role, so you do not need to be a fully developed SEO strategist. We are looking
- for someone who is curious, organised, detail-focused, comfortable with writing and eager to
- learn how strong SEO work is planned, delivered and improved inside an agency environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- As Junior SEO Executive, you will support the SEO team across on-page SEO, content
- optimisation, website updates and SEO reporting.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- **SEO Research and Planning Support**
- You will assist with keyword research, competitor research, search intent analysis, content gap
- reviews, service page planning and blog topic research.
- You will help prepare keyword lists, organise search terms by topic, review competitor websites
- and support the development of SEO recommendations for client websites.
- **On-Page SEO Support**
- You will assist with writing and updating page titles, meta descriptions, H1 tags, headings,
- image ALT text, internal links, FAQ content and basic schema recommendations.
- You will help ensure client website pages are structured clearly, optimised for relevant search
- terms and aligned with best-practice SEO standards.
- **Website and WordPress Support**
- You will assist with uploading and formatting content in WordPress, updating Yoast SEO fields,
- checking page layouts, reviewing mobile formatting, compressing and naming images, adding
- internal links and making basic website content updates.
- You may also support updates across Elementor, Shopify or other website platforms depending
- on the client.
- **SEO Reporting Support**
- You will help collect and organise SEO performance data for monthly reports, including organic
- traffic, keyword rankings, Google Search Console data, top-performing pages, declining pages,
- completed SEO work and new opportunities.
- You will assist with updating reporting spreadsheets, preparing screenshots, documenting
- completed tasks and flagging key movements in organic performance.
- **Account Organisation and Quality Assurance**
- You will help keep SEO task trackers, keyword maps, content plans, website update logs and
- reporting notes accurate and organised.
- A major part of this role will be making sure the details are checked properly so SEO work is
- clean, consistent and easy for the senior team to review.
- **What We Are Looking For**
- We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised, reliable and detail-focusedComfortable with writing, research and website content
- Interested in SEO, Google Search, content strategy and digital marketing
- Willing to learn keyword research, on-page SEO, technical checks and reporting processes
- Able to follow processes carefully and ask smart questions when needed
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks across different clients
- Proactive, curious and motivated to improve
- Clear in communication and able to work well with a growing team
- **Required Skills and Experience**
- This is a junior role, so we do not expect you to know everything.
- However, the ideal candidate will have:
- Some exposure to SEO, digital marketing, content writing, website updates or analytics
- A basic understanding of keywords, Google Search, website pages and organic traffic
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written communication skills
- Confidence using Google Sheets, Google Docs or similar tools
- A willingness to learn inside a fast-moving agency environment
- Agency experience is helpful, but not essential.
- **Nice to Have**
- Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- WordPress
- Elementor
- Yoast SEO
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics 4
- Google Tag Manager
- Looker Studio
- SEMrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking or similar SEO tools
- Shopify
- Canva or basic content tools
- Basic HTML or website editing experience
- **What You Will Learn**
- This role is designed to help you develop into a strong SEO professional.
- You will gain experience in:
- Keyword research and search intent analysis
- On-page SEO implementation
- Website content optimisation
- SEO reporting and performance analysis
- Google Search Console and GA4 reporting
- Technical SEO basics
- Internal linking and site structure
- Content planning and blog research

- **Who This Role Suits**
- This role would suit someone who has recently started their digital marketing career, completed
- relevant study, worked in a marketing assistant or content role, completed internships, or has 6
- to 24 months of experience in SEO, content or digital marketing.
- You may not yet be an expert, but you are serious about becoming one.
- You are likely the right fit if you enjoy research, writing, improving websites, understanding how

- measurable client outcomes.
