  • As Lumiq continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior SEO Executive to support the delivery
  • of SEO, content, website optimisation and reporting across a diverse client portfolio.
  • **About the Role**
  • This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their digital marketing career who wants to
  • build strong hands-on experience in SEO, website optimisation, content strategy, keyword
  • research, reporting and digital growth.
  • You will work closely with senior digital marketing team members to support SEO
  • implementation, prepare keyword research, optimise website content, assist with technical
  • checks, update reporting documents and help keep client SEO activity organised and moving
  • forward.
  • This is a junior role, so you do not need to be a fully developed SEO strategist. We are looking
  • for someone who is curious, organised, detail-focused, comfortable with writing and eager to
  • learn how strong SEO work is planned, delivered and improved inside an agency environment.
  • **Key Responsibilities**
  • As Junior SEO Executive, you will support the SEO team across on-page SEO, content
  • optimisation, website updates and SEO reporting.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • **SEO Research and Planning Support**
  • You will assist with keyword research, competitor research, search intent analysis, content gap
  • reviews, service page planning and blog topic research.
  • You will help prepare keyword lists, organise search terms by topic, review competitor websites
  • and support the development of SEO recommendations for client websites.
  • **On-Page SEO Support**
  • You will assist with writing and updating page titles, meta descriptions, H1 tags, headings,
  • image ALT text, internal links, FAQ content and basic schema recommendations.
  • You will help ensure client website pages are structured clearly, optimised for relevant search
  • terms and aligned with best-practice SEO standards.
  • **Website and WordPress Support**
  • You will assist with uploading and formatting content in WordPress, updating Yoast SEO fields,
  • checking page layouts, reviewing mobile formatting, compressing and naming images, adding
  • internal links and making basic website content updates.
  • You may also support updates across Elementor, Shopify or other website platforms depending
  • on the client.
  • **SEO Reporting Support**
  • You will help collect and organise SEO performance data for monthly reports, including organic
  • traffic, keyword rankings, Google Search Console data, top-performing pages, declining pages,
  • completed SEO work and new opportunities.
  • You will assist with updating reporting spreadsheets, preparing screenshots, documenting
  • completed tasks and flagging key movements in organic performance.
  • **Account Organisation and Quality Assurance**
  • You will help keep SEO task trackers, keyword maps, content plans, website update logs and
  • reporting notes accurate and organised.
  • A major part of this role will be making sure the details are checked properly so SEO work is
  • clean, consistent and easy for the senior team to review.

  • Some exposure to SEO, digital marketing, content writing, website updates or analytics
  • A basic understanding of keywords, Google Search, website pages and organic traffic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written communication skills
  • Confidence using Google Sheets, Google Docs or similar tools
  • A willingness to learn inside a fast-moving agency environment
  • Agency experience is helpful, but not essential.
