- **About the role**
- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Developer who will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining our Shopify e-commerce website.
- The role will work closely with the Marketing and Design teams to ensure that the website reflects the brand, performs efficiently, and delivers a seamless online shopping experience.
- **Key responsibilities**
- Develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, and website features based on business and design requirements.
- Ensure the website is responsive, user-friendly, and consistent across different devices and browsers.
- Set up and maintain product catalogs, including descriptions, images, pricing, and product variants.
- Configure and optimize shopping carts, checkout processes, payment gateways, and other e-commerce functions.
- Integrate Shopify applications and third-party tools for inventory management, customer reviews, email marketing, analytics, and other business requirements.
- Work closely with the Design and Marketing teams to implement brand-consistent website layouts, graphics, and multimedia content.
- Monitor website performance and resolve issues affecting page speed, usability, and overall functionality.
- Apply SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search performance.
- Perform regular system updates, security checks, backups, and basic disaster recovery procedures.
- Conduct website testing and troubleshoot bugs, technical issues, and compatibility concerns.
- **About you**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Shopify development or e-commerce website management.
- Proficient in Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in Shopify theme customization, application integration, and website troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of responsive web design, website performance optimization, and SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with payment gateway, inventory, analytics, and other third-party integrations is an advantage.
- Able to translate design concepts and business requirements into functional website features.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio or sample of previous Shopify or e-commerce projects is highly preferred.
