  • We are currently looking for an
  • **Assistant Designer**
  • to join our Own Brand team. Reporting to the Own Brand Buying Manager, this role is essential in driving the conception and development of products within your allocated category, while championing innovation and creativity.
  • **About the Role**
  • Understand and drive company-wide strategies and OKRs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers to ensure seamless product development and timely sample submissions.
  • Work closely with the Design team to identify and resolve design issues throughout the development process.
  • Select, develop and source fabrics, colours and trims aligned with brand standards.
  • Attend fit sessions and apply technical expertise to achieve the best product fit and quality.
  • Support sample management, technical packs and technical drawings.
  • Assist with trend forecasting and seasonal research.
  • Approve final product details to ensure alignment with the original design brief.
  • Understand supplier manufacturing capabilities to identify cost and production opportunities.
  • Participate in range planning meetings to ensure balanced assortments across styling, colour and fabrication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date range boards.
  • **What It Takes**
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Product Development or Design role.
  • Experience with print, fabric and trim development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong trend forecasting ability with a commercial eye for fashion.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
