  • About the Role
  • Understand and drive company-wide strategies and OKRs.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and recommend new products and brands.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock availability.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and support vendor onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Negotiate favourable commercial terms with wholesale and marketplace vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, including brand plans, SKU lists and category documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the onsite customer experience.
  • Analyse data, interpret trends and make commercially informed recommendations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend procurement and platform strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to achieve mutual commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key brands to develop compelling product assortments.
  • Manage underperforming brands and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Review contract terms and ensure compliance with agreed conditions.
  • Partner with Marketing to identify go-to-market and promotional opportunities.
  • Develop strategic category roadmaps aligned to commercial objectives and customer segments.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Vendor Management, Operations and Finance.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as required.
  • About You
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Buyer or Junior Buyer in a high-volume retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and
