- Attentive’s Data Platform is responsible for collecting high-quality first-party data for our brands. As the Lead Product Manager, First-Party Data Platform, you will own our web collection layer end-to-end, which directly impacts many of Attentive’s downstream product areas to personalize every message.
- This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and intelligence. You will lead the development of an autonomous, self-improving data collection system using Attentive’s first party tag — one that continuously detects gaps in coverage, generates and validates fixes, and deploys improvements across our client base without manual intervention. In parallel, you will expand our Identity capabilities, ensuring that behavioral signals are reliably resolved to known users and that our collection layer serves as a durable foundation for downstream personalization at scale.
- This is a high-scope, high-visibility role that requires both deep technical fluency in web data collection and the strategic instinct to turn infrastructure investments into measurable client outcomes.
- What You’ll Accomplish
- Build and own the roadmap for an AI-driven data quality system — a pipeline that detects collection gaps in 1st party data, generates configuration fixes, validates them through controlled experimentation, and promotes successful changes to production without manual effort
- Own the roadmap for Attentive’s web-based first-party data collection (client-side and server-side), defining how brands instrument and bring data into the platform
- Define and instrument success metrics for 1st party data quality across the platform, including coverage rates, match rates, and downstream performance impact, and use them to drive prioritization and executive alignment
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, and GTM to move from semi-manual experimentation to fully automated, continuously improving data collection at scale
- Translate complex instrumentation systems into intuitive, self-service experiences for customers and internal teams — reducing reliance on manual support and engineering intervention
- Your Expertise
- 5+ years of product management experience, with direct exposure to web analytics, web event tracking, first-party data collection, identity resolution or instrumentation platforms
- Strong technical fluency of how data is collected from the internet — including client-side tags, server-side events, browser behavior, network requests, and event payload structure
- Ability to work closely with engineers on technical systems while translating instrumentation complexity into clear customer-facing workflows and business outcomes
- Experience improving implementation experiences, debugging workflows, or data quality at the point of collection in a SaaS or B2B environment
- A track record of driving execution in cross-functional environments where Engineering, Support, and GTM teams depend on your product decisions
- You'll get competitive perks and benefits, from health & wellness to equity, to help you bring your best self to work.
