  • We are looking for an AI Engineer to help build and evolve AI capabilities that support a wide range of business use cases across the organization. You will be a contributing member of a focused AI services team, working alongside experienced engineers and Product partners to deliver reliable, scalable AI solutions.
  • In this role, you will contribute to AI initiatives from design through production delivery, implementing well-scoped AI features and components with limited direction. This role offers hands-on exposure to complex problem spaces, real ownership of individual deliverables, and the opportunity to grow your technical skills and influence over time.

What you’ll do

  • Build, test, and integrate AI solutions such as LLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, agents, and orchestration layers
  • Implement systems to extract structured information from descriptions, classify content against taxonomies, and generate content aligned with organizational ontologies
  • Contribute to a shared AI platform with a focus on reuse, maintainability, and internal developer experience
  • Translate well-defined requirements into working, production-quality AI components with minimal direction
  • Optimize AI systems for performance, cost, and reliability
  • Stay current with AI/ML trends and participate in evaluations of new tools and technologies
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering partners to understand requirements and contribute to technical planning
  • Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions clearly and in a timely manner
  • Balance speed and quality, and seek guidance when navigating complex tradeoffs

Who you are

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Go or another modern backend language such as Python, PHP, Java,
  • 1+ year of experience building or working with AI/ML systems, including in production or production-adjacent environments
  • Familiarity with modern GenAI ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Braintrust, PortKey, LangChain)
  • Exposure to NLP tasks via LLMs (text classification, named entity recognition, extraction, summarization)
  • Basic working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience with SQL and working with structured data
  • Experience with RabbitMQ, Grafana or Prometheus
  • Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with vector databases, inference engines, or data persistence layers
  • Familiarity with structured output handling (JSON mode, schema validation, output parsing)
  • Proficiency with current frontend frameworks such as React
