Amazon Shopping MCP is an open-source connector that lets LLM agents query Amazon product listings through Playwright browser automation. Developers and ecommerce analysts wire it into Claude Desktop or other MCP clients to pull live titles, prices, ratings, and reviews for competitive research, repricing workflows, or catalog enrichment. Because it drives a real browser rather than calling an official API, it sidesteps Product Advertising API approval but carries the usual scraping fragility.
