- We are looking for a highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for key areas of the month-end close process, with a primary focus on cost of revenue accounting, including large vendor spend related to our messaging platform operations and hosting expenses.

- You will partner closely with teams across Engineering, Messaging Operations, and Finance to understand system flows, evaluate vendor contracts, and assess the accounting implications of new products and initiatives.
- The role will report to the Senior Director, Accounting and will oversee one accounting contractor.
- What You’ll Accomplish
- Play a key role in the monthly close process for cost of revenue and hosting expenses, including analysis of usage-based messaging vendor spend and infrastructure costs. Review and approve related journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Partner closely with Messaging Operations and Engineering to review spend with key vendors, ensuring proper accounting treatment and resolving reconciling differences.
- Develop a strong understanding of system data flows related to our largest expense categories and ensure accurate reporting in the general ledger.
- Identify and communicate accounting risks, operational issues, and process gaps impacting areas of responsibility.
- Support the successful completion of the year-end audit by preparing analyses and providing supporting documentation to external auditors.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the accounting impact of new contracts and product initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline close activities and automate operational accounting processes.
- Your Expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with CPA required.
- 6+ years of accounting experience, including a combination of private industry and public accounting.
- Thorough technical knowledge of accounting and
Us gaap
- Experience working in high-growth technology, SaaS, or infrastructure-driven environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Looker experience a plus.
Experience with netsuite and floqast preferred
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.

- For US based applicants:
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $140,000 annually + equity + benefits
