- Our Engineering team creates innovative product experiences that power personalized marketing at a massive scale. We develop cutting-edge applications and systems that process 100s of billions of messages and events per year, enabling marketers to connect effectively with hundreds of millions of consumers. Joining our team offers a high-growth career opportunity to work with some of the world’s most talented engineers in a high-performance and high-impact culture.
- The Shopper Management organization sits at the foundation of Attentive’s marketing platform. Our mission is to help brands understand who their shoppers are, what we know about them, and how that data can be trusted and used across messaging, segmentation, journeys, reporting, and AI-driven personalization. This includes the systems that recognize shoppers across channels, unify identifiers and subscriptions into a coherent person-centric model, maintain authoritative profile data, make shopper data visible and explainable, and ensure that downstream teams can activate that data reliably.
- As Engineering Manager, Shopper Management, you will lead a team that owns a critical part of Attentive’s shopper platform. The broader domain spans Identity, User Profile, and Data Foundations, including systems for identity resolution, shopper profiles, attributes, data quality, event APIs, and profile serving. Your team’s work will help marketers understand their shoppers, trust the data behind that understanding, and activate it through segmentation, journeys, messaging, reporting, and AI-driven personalization.
- You will own the team’s roadmap, technical strategy, execution, and operational health. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Analytics, BI, and other engineering teams to turn customer and business needs into durable platform capabilities and customer-facing product experiences. You will stay technically close to the work and help the team make strong tradeoffs across scale, reliability, accuracy, privacy, and product velocity.
- This is a high-leverage role for a manager who enjoys building foundational platforms and data systems, developing senior engineers, creating clarity in ambiguous domains, and connecting infrastructure work to customer-visible impact.
