  • **Job Summary**
  • The National Lottery is hiring a CRM & Performance Marketing Specialist to help shape how the organisation drives player engagement and retention. In this role, data leads every decision. The specialist will act as the main user of Braze, the company’s newly adopted marketing platform, and will coordinate content across web and app products. Because the role sits within the wider Commercial team, close collaboration with BI, Digital and other cross-functional teams is essential from day one.
  • **About The National Lottery**
  • The National Lottery is Ireland’s national lottery operator, and its marketing function is currently investing heavily in martech and data-driven engagement. The organisation recently adopted Braze as its core CRM platform, which signals a broader shift toward more personalised, multi-channel player communication.
  • This role sits within the Commercial team, but it works closely with BI and Digital colleagues on a daily basis. As a result, the successful candidate will have visibility across several departments rather than operating in a single-function silo — a good fit for someone who enjoys cross-team collaboration as much as hands-on campaign execution.
  • **Responsibilities**
  • Campaign Strategy & CRM Execution
  • Design, build and optimise complex multi-channel campaigns and customer journeys
  • Identify success patterns and innovation opportunities across both CRM and performance marketing
  • Develop a digital test-and-learn strategy to continually optimise campaign journeys
  • Support A/B testing, QA processes and performance troubleshooting
  • Data & Platform Management
  • Contribute to evolving the Braze technical roadmap in collaboration with BI and Digital teams
  • Configure data layers, tagging and analytics tracking across web and mobile platforms
  • Content & Compliance
  • Act as a key user of the CMS (Strapi) and take a leading role in content management across web and app products
  • Ensure all content updates and campaign execution work strictly comply with legal obligations
  • **Minimum Qualifications**
  • 3+ years’ experience in CRM, martech or digital marketing roles
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with CRM systems — Braze strongly preferred — including campaign execution and optimisation
  • **Preferred Qualifications**
  • 2+ years’ experience with a CMS solution
  • Experience troubleshooting mobile app ecosystems, including event tagging frameworks such as Firebase or GA4
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, including technical troubleshooting
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and focused on process excellence
  • Effective communicator with stakeholder management experience
  • Collaborative and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Braze, Strapi, Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics
  • Salary and Benefits
  • The posting does not disclose a specific salary . However, it does list a strong benefits package:
  • Work-life balance: Hybrid working model (for applicable roles), full range of leave entitlements, career breaks and secondments
  • Physical wellbeing: Discounted gym membership, eye tests, flu vaccinations, paid sick benefit, wellbeing initiatives
  • Financial wellbeing: Competitive salary, defined contribution pension, income protection, 1:1 financial advice
  • Learning & development: In-house training programme, Go1 learning content, Irish Management Institute, The Executive Institute
  • How to Apply
  • Review your CRM, martech or digital marketing experience against the qualifications above
  • Check the full listing and benefits on the National Lottery careers page
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
  • **Is this role remote, hybrid or fully office-based?**
  • The posting doesn’t confirm the work model for this specific role [TO CONFIRM]. It does mention a hybrid working model “for applicable roles” as part of the company’s general benefits, so hybrid working is likely — candidates should confirm this directly during the application process.
  • **Do I need hands-on Braze experience to apply?**
  • Not strictly. Braze experience is “strongly preferred,” but the core requirement is 3+ years in CRM, martech or digital marketing more broadly. Strong CRM platform experience elsewhere should still make you a competitive candidate.
  • **What tools will I actually use day-to-day in this role?**
  • You’ll work primarily in Braze (CRM/marketing automation) and Strapi (CMS), alongside Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics for performance tracking and campaign measurement.
