Custom GPTs are versions of ChatGPT set up for one job, such as writing product descriptions or Etsy listings. Each one here still opens in ChatGPT and its own description is about ecommerce work.

OpenAI plans to retire custom GPTs on 11 December 2026 and is moving creators to ChatGPT plugins. Existing GPTs stay usable until then, and new GPTs can no longer be created on personal ChatGPT accounts. OpenAI's retirement FAQ

What to check before using a GPT with store data

Product data, customer emails and sales figures pasted into a GPT are handled under ChatGPT's terms and, for some GPTs, a third party's.

Whether it sends data elsewhere
A GPT can connect to outside services through apps or actions. When it uses one, parts of what you type can be sent to that service, and OpenAI says it does not audit or control how those services use or store it. ChatGPT may ask you to approve a request first.
Whether your chats train models
On Free, Go, Plus and Pro plans, conversations may be used to train OpenAI's models unless you opt out in data controls. Business, Enterprise and Edu data is not used for training by default.

Who can read your conversation
OpenAI states that GPT builders cannot view individual conversations users have with their GPTs. That does not cover a service the GPT sends data to.
Who publishes it
Each listing shows the builder named on the GPT Store. Some GPTs are published by a company and point you to that company's own paid product or service.

GPTs do not use your saved memory, custom instructions or earlier conversations. Paste the product details, tone and rules it needs into each new chat.

OpenAI plans to retire custom GPTs on 11 December 2026. A GPT you rely on may be replaced by a plugin from its creator, or not at all.

What is a custom GPT?

A custom GPT is a version of ChatGPT set up for one purpose. Its builder gives it instructions, conversation starters and optionally reference files, tools such as web search or image generation, and connections to outside services. It runs only inside ChatGPT, and you need to be signed in to a ChatGPT account to chat with one.

A GPT is not an app you install in your store. It works on what you paste or upload into the chat, so product copy it writes still has to be copied into your store or marketplace.

How this directory works

Where listings come from

Candidates were imported in May 2026 from There's An AI For That, and more arrive through submissions. A directory entry is only a lead; nothing is listed from it alone.

How each one is checked

We open each GPT's page on chatgpt.com and read its name, description, builder, conversation starters and conversation count. Where a stored link was broken, the working link was taken from the directory page. Last full check: September 2026.

What gets listed

Only GPTs that still open in ChatGPT and whose own description is about ecommerce work: product copy, marketplace listings, store SEO, product research, running or building a store, store support or store analytics. Duplicates are merged.

What is extracted, and how

Tasks, platforms, publisher type and the one-line summary are extracted by a language model from the GPT's own page, with the evidence kept for review. We have not tested the quality of any GPT's answers.

What is not listed

Of 59 candidates reviewed, 1 no longer opened in ChatGPT, 6 were general business, coaching or single-company support GPTs rather than ecommerce tools.
