Shopify Plus pricing and costs
Shopify Plus is sold on a term contract. In US dollars it costs $2,300 a month on a three-year term or $2,500 a month on a one-year term, for standard setups and integrations. Shopify moves more complex, higher-volume businesses to a variable platform fee based on revenue and business model, with different rates for B2B and direct-to-consumer orders. That rate is not published. The other three plans can be paid monthly or yearly: Basic $29, Grow $79 and Advanced $299 a month billed yearly.

Shopify Plus costs on top of the platform fee

- No. Shopify Plus is the top plan in the same Shopify plan table as Basic, Grow and Advanced. It uses the same admin, checkout, themes and app store, with higher limits and a set of features only available on Shopify Plus.
- Is Shopify Plus worth it?
- It depends on sales volume. On subscription and card fees alone, Shopify Plus on a three-year term costs the same as Advanced billed yearly at $800,400 a month in online sales through Shopify Payments, because the online card rate drops from 2.5% to 2.25%. With a third-party payment provider the figure is $500,250, because Shopify's fee drops from 0.6% to 0.2%. POS Pro locations, which are included on Shopify Plus, lower the figure. The variable platform fee, where Shopify applies it, raises it.
- Does Shopify Plus remove transaction fees?
- With Shopify Payments as the main payment provider there is no third-party transaction fee on any plan. With a third-party provider, Shopify charges 0.2% per transaction on Shopify Plus, against 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow and 0.6% on Advanced.
