- Job Summary:
- We are seeking an organized, highly collaborative, on-site E-commerce & Wholesale Operations Specialist to manage our digital catalogs, cross-departmental inventory logistics, and multi-channel customer experience. In this role, you will act as a key operational hub, working directly with our internal design team during product creation and coordinating with the production team to manage new arrivals. You will independently maintain our retail Shopify backend and our wholesale platform, JOOR, while actively supporting our external showroom partners to drive the wholesale business. The ideal candidate thrives in an on-site team environment, possesses strong communication skills, and seamlessly manages data across separate digital ecosystems.
- **Role Description**
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration & Product Creation**
- Partner directly with the internal design team during the product creation phase to gather technical specifications, colorways, and product details required for catalog setup.
- Coordinate closely with the production team to track manufacturing timelines, anticipate new product arrivals, and prep the platforms for immediate launch upon receipt.
- Serve as the operational liaison for our external showroom partners, providing them with updated asset links, linesheets, and inventory availability to support wholesale sales efforts.
- **Multi-Platform Catalog Management**
- Create, build, and optimize retail product listings on Shopify, translating design and production inputs into accurate variant matrixes, SEO tags, descriptions, and pricing structures.
- Upload, update, and maintain seasonal linesheets, styles, imagery, and wholesale pricing tiers within the JOOR platform to match showroom offerings.
- Ensure absolute data consistency and SKU alignment between the separate Shopify and JOOR environments, as well as internal production sheets.
- **Inventory Allocation & On-Site Transfer Execution**
- Plan and execute physical and systematic inventory transfers from wholesale bulk stock over to retail fulfillment channels based on production arrivals.
- Monitor sales velocity on Shopify to strategically allocate inventory and prevent retail stockouts.
- Manage wholesale order allocation within JOOR, manually adjusting available-to-sell (ATS) quantities to keep both platforms accurate and aligned with showroom allocations.
- **Wholesale & Retail Customer Service**
- Act as the primary point of contact for wholesale accounts and showroom reps, guiding them through the JOOR platform and assisting with order placement or order edits.
- Deliver high-quality support to retail web shoppers via email, chat, or phone regarding order statuses, returns, and product questions.
- Work closely with the on-site fulfillment team to investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or transit issues.
- **Qualifications**
- Strong commerce and e-commerce operations skills, including product listing management on Shopify and inventory coordination.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales, inventory, and operational data, and to identify trends or discrepancies.
- Clear and professional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
- Customer service orientation to support internal stakeholders and contribute to a positive shopper experience.
- Sales awareness and understanding of how merchandising and inventory decisions impact revenue.
- Experience with SHOPIFY a must, JOOR a plus.
- Must be proficient in EXCEL to the be able to work with VLOOKUP and PIVOT TABLES
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or product operations; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Salary
- $70,000-85,000 annually DOE
