- **Job Summary**
- We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Part-Time E-commerce Content Assistant to join our digital marketing team. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone starting out in content, marketing, or communications who wants hands-on experience with a growing online brand. You'll help write, edit, and publish content across our e-commerce site and social channels, learning SEO and content strategy fundamentals along the way. Strong writing, a good eye for detail, and genuine curiosity about digital marketing matter more than years of experience.
- **Schedule:** Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
- **Duties**
- Write clear, engaging product descriptions, social media posts, and short web copy that follow our brand voice guidelines.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, accuracy, and consistency before it goes live.
- Support keyword research and apply basic SEO practices with guidance from senior team members.
- Assist the marketing team with campaign content and help keep the content calendar up to date.
- Upload, format, and organize content in our content management system (e.g., WordPress or Shopify).
- Research competitors and industry trends and share findings with the team.
- Incorporate feedback from teammates to refine and improve your work.
- Help with light image edits or simple graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite as needed.
- **Requirements**
- Strong written English and a genuine interest in writing for online audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail in grammar, spelling, style, and tone.
- Some exposure to content writing, social media, or marketing—through coursework, internships, volunteer work, a personal blog, or a portfolio—is helpful but not required.
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms and how brands communicate online.
- Comfortable learning new tools; prior CMS or SEO experience is a plus, not a must.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage tasks independently within a part-time schedule.
- Collaborative attitude and openness to feedback.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a bonus.
- This is a paid, part-time position with room to grow. If you love writing, enjoy learning how online brands connect with customers, and want practical experience in e-commerce marketing, we'd love to hear from you.
- Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
- Work Location: In person
