  • Help build the growth engine behind AusAir’s next stage of international expansion
  • AusAir is an Australian consumer air-quality and technology company with an established international e-commerce footprint and customers across Australia, North America, Europe and Asia.
  • We create design-led products that help people better understand and improve the air around them, including AirLab smart air-quality monitors and our range of reusable masks.
  • AusAir is entering an exciting new phase of growth. We are scaling our product range, increasing our investment in international markets and building the internal team required to support a substantially larger global business.
  • We are now looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Lead to take ownership of paid acquisition and help drive this next stage of growth.
  • The opportunity
  • This is a hands-on builder role. Initially, you will be directly involved across the complete creative and campaign workflow—writing scripts, capturing and producing B-roll, sourcing and briefing UGC creators, developing ad variations, uploading campaigns to Meta and Google, and keeping business-as-usual activity performing while maintaining a consistent pipeline of new creative.
  • You will work directly with the founding team, with the autonomy to turn ideas into live campaigns quickly, learn from the results and continually improve the system.
  • As AusAir scales, the role will scale with it. The right person will progress from personally executing each stage to building repeatable systems, directing creative production, expanding into new markets and channels, managing larger budgets and helping build the team around them.
  • This is an opportunity to build the growth engine first—and, through strong performance, grow into a broader marketing leadership role as AusAir’s product portfolio, revenue and international footprint expand.
  • What you’ll do
  • Own and optimise paid acquisition across Meta and Google, including campaign structure, budgets, targeting, testing and reporting.
  • Keep business-as-usual campaigns running effectively while maintaining a consistent pipeline of new creative and campaign testing.
  • Develop strategies to scale international revenue while maintaining sustainable acquisition costs and profitability.
  • Research customer needs and turn insights into advertising angles, hooks and scripts.
  • Capture and produce B-roll and other product-focused content.
  • Identify, contact and manage suitable UGC creators.
  • Create clear briefs for creators, designers, photographers, videographers and editors.
  • Take advertising concepts from initial research through to completed ad variations and live campaigns.
  • Upload, launch and optimise creative across Meta, Google and other relevant platforms.
  • Analyse creative performance and convert the results into clear actions for the next round of advertisements.
  • Work across Shopify, product pages, landing pages, offers and conversion-rate optimisation.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and reporting across Shopify, GA4, Meta, Google and other relevant platforms.
  • Monitor CAC, ROAS, blended marketing efficiency, conversion rate, average order value and contribution margin.
  • Coordinate marketing activity with inventory, production schedules and new product launches.
  • Build and optimise campaigns for international markets, including localised messaging, currencies, languages and customer needs.
  • Develop repeatable market-entry playbooks as AusAir expands into additional countries.
  • Identify and test new advertising platforms and customer-acquisition opportunities.
  • Use AI tools, including ChatGPT, to accelerate research, analysis, creative development and marketing workflows.
  • Produce clear performance reporting, commercial insights and recommendations for the founding team.
  • Help establish the systems, processes and future team required to support AusAir’s continued growth.
  • About you
  • At least four years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media or e-commerce growth.
  • Strong practical experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Demonstrated success growing a consumer or e-commerce brand.
  • Experience working with Shopify and the broader e-commerce marketing stack.
  • A strong understanding of creative performance—not just media buying.
  • Able to develop compelling angles, hooks, scripts and creative briefs.
  • Comfortable capturing content and taking creative from an initial concept through to a finished advertisement.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a commercial understanding of revenue, margin and customer-acquisition costs.
  • Confident managing budgets and making decisions based on performance data.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking genuine ownership of results.
  • Willing to remain hands-on while building the systems and team required for the future.
  • Excited by the opportunity to grow within a fast-scaling, founder-led company.
  • Curious, resourceful and willing to test new ideas, markets and platforms.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly regarded
  • Experience scaling physical consumer products internationally.
  • Experience with air quality, health, wellness, technology or other considered-purchase products.
  • Experience localising campaigns across different countries or languages.
  • Familiarity with product feeds, Google Merchant Center, Meta CAPI and e-commerce attribution.
  • Experience with YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Microsoft Ads or other emerging channels.
  • Practical video-editing or design skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with UGC creators, photographers, videographers or freelance editors.
  • Why join AusAir?
  • Join an established international brand at a genuine growth inflection point.
  • Work on products already sold across a significant global e-commerce footprint.
  • Play a central role in scaling new products, countries and customer-acquisition channels.
  • Take real ownership of performance rather than sitting behind an agency or account-management layer.
  • Work directly with the founders and turn ideas into live campaigns quickly.
  • Manage meaningful budgets with the capacity to grow as performance and inventory scale.
  • Build the marketing systems and processes that will shape the company’s next stage.
  • Grow your responsibilities, influence and leadership opportunities alongside the business.
  • Help build the future marketing team rather than inheriting a rigid structure.
  • Work across innovative air-quality technology and consumer products with substantial international potential.
  • Join a fast-moving environment where initiative is recognised and strong ideas can have an immediate commercial impact.
  • How to apply
  • Please apply with your CV and a short note covering:
  • The largest monthly advertising budget you have personally managed.
  • An e-commerce brand or account you helped scale and the results achieved.
  • An example of an advertising or creative test that materially improved performance.
  • Which parts of the strategy and execution you personally owned.
  • Why the opportunity to help scale AusAir internationally interests you.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates who can clearly distinguish between work they personally delivered and results produced by a broader team or agency.
