- **About Andersen EV**
- Andersen EV is the UK’s leading premium home-charging brand.
- We design and manufacture intelligent EV chargers that combine advanced technology with exceptional design. Unlike conventional charge points, Andersen chargers are created to complement the homes in which they are installed, with a choice of premium finishes and intelligent charging features.
- Trusted by some of the world’s leading automotive brands, including Porsche and Jaguar Land Rover, Andersen is entering an exciting period of growth. As more drivers make the transition to electric, we are investing significantly in building a high-performing, commercially focused in-house marketing function.
- **The Role**
- We are looking for an exceptional, hands-on Senior Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of Andersen’s paid acquisition strategy.
- This is a pivotal commercial role, responsible for managing approximately £100,000 in monthly paid-media investment, including £60,000–£80,000 per month across Google Ads.
- Google will be your core specialism, but your remit will extend across Meta, conversion-rate optimisation, landing-page performance, analytics and attribution. Your overriding objective will be simple: to increase sales efficiently and sustainably.
- This is not a role for someone who wants to oversee activity from a distance. You will be personally responsible for analysing, building, testing and optimising campaigns every day. You will be close to the product, the customer journey and the commercial performance of the business.
- An Andersen charger is a premium, considered purchase, and
- **not**
- an impulse buy. Customers may research over several weeks, interact with multiple channels and devices, configure a product, request further information and return several times before purchasing. You must understand how to market and measure products with complex, multi-touch conversion journeys.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- Own Andersen’s paid acquisition strategy, with primary responsibility for Google Ads and supporting responsibility across Meta.
- Personally manage, optimise and scale paid-media campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, Display and paid social.
- Manage approximately £100,000 in monthly media investment with clear commercial accountability.
- Increase charge-point sales while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our customer-acquisition spend.
- Build a deep understanding of Andersen’s products, customers, sales journey, competitors and commercial priorities.
- Develop a sophisticated keyword strategy across branded, non-branded, competitor and high-intent search terms.
- Monitor campaign performance proactively and respond quickly to changes in demand, competition, cost and conversion behaviour.
- Create and maintain a structured programme of campaign, audience, creative, messaging and bidding tests.
- Analyse performance across the complete customer journey rather than relying solely on last-click conversions.
- Improve tracking and attribution across Google Ads, GA4, Shopify and other relevant platforms.
- Identify the role played by different channels and touchpoints throughout a longer, considered purchase journey.
- Challenge agency recommendations and progressively bring strategic and operational ownership in-house.
- Contribute to Andersen’s broader acquisition strategy, including Meta, CRO and emerging opportunities within search, SEO and GEO.
