- **Role and Company Overview:**
- We are looking for a hands-on, analytical SEO Manager specializing in Technical SEO, Answer-Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative-Engine Optimization (GEO) to take ownership of organic and AI-search strategy for a major enterprise account. Partnering with a high-growth global digital marketing agency, you will dive deep into search architecture, structured data, and AI engine visibility. This is a dedicated delivery-focused role designed for a specialist who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, building data-backed hypotheses, and working cross-functionally without direct client account management duties.
- **Responsibilities:**
- Lead technical SEO and AI-search visibility audits, examining crawlability, indexation, site performance, Core Web Vitals, structured data, content hierarchy, and entity signals.
- Turn audit findings into prioritized, actionable recommendations detailing precise code or structural changes, business rationale, responsible owners, and clear KPIs.
- Investigate keyword, merchant-intent, and AI-prompt opportunities, building comprehensive query sets to identify search visibility gaps across traditional and generative engines.
- Develop integrated SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies that align seamlessly with content, paid media, earned media, and broader business objectives.
- Specify page structures, schema markup, and structural recommendations for content writers and technical teams.
- Partner directly with developers and client-side technical teams to drive implementation, validate fixes, and troubleshoot blockers.
- Monitor organic search metrics, AI citations, share of voice, rankings, and conversion metrics to evaluate performance against agreed milestones.
- Utilize AI tools responsibly to examine large search datasets, surface verified hypotheses, and help refine team processes and documentation.
- **Requirements:**
- Proven track record leading enterprise-level technical SEO strategies and complex web audits for high-traffic platforms.
- Deep expertise in core technical SEO concepts: crawl budgets, rendering, indexation, Core Web Vitals, entity optimization, and structured data.
- Experience or strong familiarity with AI-search visibility (AEO/GEO), including AI engine citations, prompt tracking, and share-of-voice analysis.
- Investigative, naturally curious problem-solving mindset with high comfort navigating ambiguity in complex environments.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to work side-by-side with web developers, content strategists, and paid media specialists.
- Proactive communication style focused on setting clear expectations, identifying risks or dependencies, and delivering concise, highly actionable technical documentation.
