- **Hi, we’re The Gym Group..**
- We’re one of the UK’s leading fitness businesses. With more than one million members, 265+ gyms and ambitious plans to keep growing, we’re the UK’s second-largest gym operator by membership and the fourth largest in Europe.
- Our mission is simple: to break down barriers to fitness for all. We’re large enough to make a meaningful difference, but agile enough for individuals to influence how we grow. Technology, data and new ideas play a central role - and you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, challenge how things are done and see the impact of your work.
- Just as importantly, we’re a people-first business where everyone is encouraged to be themselves. We’ve been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work and awarded Investors in People Gold, alongside a host of other awards recognising our culture and our people.
- **About The Role...**
- This is a brilliant opportunity to get hands-on with performance marketing at scale - planning and running paid search and paid social campaigns that directly drive membership growth for one of the UK's biggest gym brands.
- You will be part of a collaborative Marketing team, reporting to the Acquisition and Performance Lead, with real ownership of campaign delivery from day one.
- **What You'll Be Doing...**
- Planning, executing, and optimising paid acquisition campaigns across PPC and paid social to drive new member growth.
- Monitoring campaign performance daily and making data-led decisions to improve ROI and hit trading targets.
- Supporting new gym openings and regional campaigns, ensuring activity is tailored to local market needs.
- Working with agency partners and internal teams across Brand, eCommerce, CRM, and Analytics to deliver integrated, effective campaigns.
- Tracking and reporting on campaign results, sharing clear insights and recommendations with stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Testing new channels and tactics in a structured way and scaling what works.
- Contributing to performance dashboards and commercial reporting that inform decisions across the business.
- Staying on top of platform developments and evolving best practice in paid search and paid social.
- **About You...**
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on performance marketing experience, either in-house or agency-side.
- Practical, demonstrable experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including setup, optimisation, and reporting.
- A solid understanding of paid search principles and how the search landscape is evolving.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear, confident communication skills - you will be presenting performance and ideas to internal and external stakeholders regularly.
