- Particle is a fast-growing men’s grooming and skincare brand with a strong direct-to-consumer business in the U.S. We operate at a significant scale across paid media, e-commerce, retail, and marketplaces, and are constantly looking for ways to improve the customer journey and maximize the value of every visitor who reaches our site.
- We are looking for an experienced CRO professional to own the discipline end-to-end across Particle’s website, landing pages, product pages, funnels, and checkout experience.
- This is a highly analytical and hands-on role with a clear goal: systematically increase revenue per visitor and conversion rate without compromising brand experience or customer quality.
- **Responsibilities**
- Own Particle’s CRO strategy and experimentation roadmap, with a focus on driving measurable improvements in conversion, revenue per visitor, average order value, and overall e-commerce performance.
- Identify and prioritize conversion opportunities across the full customer journey, including landing pages, product pages, cart, checkout, and mobile experiences.
- Build and manage a structured pipeline of CRO hypotheses and experiments, prioritizing initiatives based on potential impact, confidence, effort, traffic requirements, and business value.
- Design, launch, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests, translating results into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Turn successful experiments into permanent site improvements, while using unsuccessful or inconclusive tests to generate new hypotheses and iterations.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer behavior data using funnel analysis, site analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, surveys, and segmentation to identify friction points and growth opportunities.
- Develop, test, and optimize dedicated landing pages and on-site experiences for paid acquisition traffic.
- Identify opportunities to improve offers, bundles, pricing, upsells, cross-sells, personalization, and other commercial levers throughout the customer journey.
- Partner closely with Growth, Creative, Product, Design, Development, Analytics, and Marketing teams to bring experiments and conversion improvements to life.
- Establish clear CRO reporting and documentation, building organizational knowledge around experiments, customer behavior, and key conversion drivers.
- **Requirements**
- 5+ years of experience in CRO, experimentation, growth optimization, or e-commerce optimization.
- Significant experience working with high-volume DTC or e-commerce businesses, with a proven track record of building and running successful experimentation programs.
- Deep hands-on experience with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation platforms such as VWO, Optimizely, AB Tasty, Convert, Dynamic Yield, Intelligems, Shoplift, Replo, or similar.
- Strong understanding of experimentation principles, including test design, sample-size requirements, statistical significance, segmentation, incrementality, and revenue-based evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets, with the ability to distinguish correlation from causation and translate data into commercial decisions.
- Experience with analytics and behavioral tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, FullStory, Triple Whale, or similar.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce customer psychology, buying behavior, and acquisition funnels, including how paid traffic interacts with on-site conversion.
- Experience optimizing customer journeys across both desktop and mobile.
- Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to evaluate optimization opportunities based on their impact on overall business economics, not just individual metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, developers, marketers, analysts, and senior stakeholders.
- Highly curious, data-driven, and comfortable challenging assumptions in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
- Experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus environments is strongly preferred.
- **Strong Advantages**
- Experience with large-scale DTC brands ($30M+ in annual revenue).
- Experience in beauty, skincare, grooming, supplements, wellness, or other consumer product categories.
- Experience optimizing funnels with high-volume acquisition from Meta, Google, YouTube, TV, or similar channels.
- Experience with landing-page optimization for paid acquisition.
- Experience with subscription models, bundling, offer and pricing experimentation, upsells, cross-sells, post-purchase optimization, or personalization.
- SQL or advanced analytics capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
