SEO Specialist / Senior Marketing Executive

• We're a fast-growing digital and creative agency based in Bristol with international clients, established in 2001. We're looking for a senior executive/specialist to join our SEO team as we expand our client base in both this team and the wider digital marketing team.

• **The Role**
• Salary: £30,000 - 38,000
• Location: Blended working (A minimum of 3 days at Courage House, 3 Ashman's Road, Bristol, BS3 2EZ)
• Contract: Full Time / Permanent
• **What we are looking for**
• We're on the lookout for a mid-level SEO specialist, with a good few years’ experience, who’s looking for a new challenge. We want you to develop and execute SEO strategies to drive high-intent organic traffic and improve revenue growth for our clients, as well as supporting the dev team with website migrations and launches from a technical SEO point of view.
• You’ll speak to clients regularly to update them on progress and results. You will always receive credit for your great work from within Fanatic and directly from the client. You will also work with the in-house designers and developers to implement more extensive changes needed to support the SEO work.
• **Responsibilities**
• Develop and execute effective SEO strategies across a range of clients and verticals.
• Use various analytical tools to assess competitor activity and spot opportunities for growth.
• Carry out accurate reporting, analysis, and research for existing and new SEO accounts.
• Create comprehensive SEO proposals for new clients.
• Regular communication with clients to understand their business needs and KPIs, and to update them on progress, results, and next steps.
• Create monthly performance reports using Looker Studio and/or Google Slides.
• Support the head of SEO and the other members of the digital team.
• Work closely with the internal Fanatic teams and external client teams.
• **Skills**
• Essential:
• 3+ years’ experience in SEO, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
• Strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to adapt in agile ways of working.
• Ability to multitask and self-manage while handling projects under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and on-page, off-page and technical SEO best practices and implementation.
• Proficient with SEO and analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Sitebulb, Screaming Frog.
• Proven track record of creating and implementing effective SEO strategies across different business verticals.
• Overall understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
• Desirable:
• International SEO experience.
• Understanding and implementation of AI/GEO search strategies.
• Good HTML and CSS knowledge.
