  • ATL Diesel sells heavy-duty diesel engine parts to fleets, dealers and shops across the US, on Shopify Plus. Business customers are our fastest-growing channel, and in 2027 we are launching a self-service portal built for how they buy: their own pricing, their own part numbers, invoices, service tickets, and the roles their companies need to order, approve and pay.
  • We are hiring a Technical Project Manager to deliver that launch and then keep every ecommerce project moving. Part delivery lead, part analyst, part builder: you plan the work, write the specs, and build the tools and automations that let our developers focus on the product.
  • **Contract Type**
  • Contractor, full-time, remote
  • **Work Hours**
  • Monday to Friday, standard US business hours
  • **About the Role**
  • You work directly with our Senior Ecommerce Manager, who sets direction and priorities. Everything from there is yours: the plan, the specs, the follow-through, the launch, and the small tools that make the team faster. The team is small and senior, so your work is visible and your judgment counts from the first week.
  • Your first assignment is the B2B customer portal, from requirements through launch in 2027 and the release that follows. After that, you run delivery for all of our ecommerce work, retail and B2B.
  • **What You'll Do**
  • ● Plan and run delivery: milestones, dependencies, risks, and a working rhythm that fits the team
  • ● Act as the single point of contact for developers and build partners, clearing blockers the same day
  • ● Keep Jira, the decision log and the risk log current, and send a weekly status that leadership can read in a minute
  • ● Draft requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for approval, clear enough that developers build without guessing and QA tests without asking
  • ● Read API documentation and draft integration specs across our ecommerce platform, ERP, CRM, accounting and search systems
  • ● Benchmark features against competitors and leading B2B experiences, flag gaps, and propose options and scope cuts
  • ● Coordinate QA and user acceptance testing on real customer accounts; nothing launches until it passes
  • ● Be the technical point of contact after launch: triage bugs and edge cases, reproduce them, and route them with the detail developers need
  • ● Build internal tools, automations and AI workflows for specs, QA, reporting and data checks, so developers stay on the product
  • ● Prototype flows with low-code and AI builders so stakeholders and customers react to something real before we commit engineering time
  • ● Work with our UX/UI Designer on screens and usability sessions, and plan rollouts with Sales leadership

What you build augments the engineering team

  • internal tools, automations and prototypes. Developers own the production code, and nothing customer-facing ships without their review.
  • **What You Need to Succeed**
  • **Must-haves**
  • ● 5+ years in delivery-focused roles on software or ecommerce projects: technical project manager, delivery manager, product operations, business analyst or product owner
  • ● You have hit fixed dates with developers who didn't report to you (contractors, agencies or another team), and you can tell us what you cut to hold the date
  • ● You know how B2B ecommerce works: customer-specific pricing and catalogs, company accounts where one person orders, another approves and another pays, payment terms and invoices, and how orders and data sync between the storefront, ERP and accounting
  • ● Experience in B2B distribution, wholesale or a similar business where companies buy repeatedly and in volume
  • ● You read code and data well enough to follow the logic (JSON, API docs, SQL, scripts) and debug alongside developers
  • ● You have built working tools with low-code, automation or AI platforms (for example n8n, Zapier, Shopify Flow, Retool, Claude or Cursor), and you can show us one
  • ● You write acceptance criteria and integration specs that developers and QA can work from without asking you
  • ● Fluent written and spoken English; you run meetings and present to leadership in English
  • Nice-to-haves
  • ● Delivery on Shopify, ideally Shopify Plus B2B; VTEX, SAP Commerce, Magento or BigCommerce also count
  • ● An ERP, CRM or accounting integration you can walk through end to end
  • ● A customer portal or self-service experience you helped launch
  • ● Large technical catalogs with cross-references (industrial, automotive or similar)
  • ● PMP, Scrum or Kanban certification
  • **What Success Looks Like**
  • **First 90 days**
  • ● You know our stack and integrations well enough to draft specs with light review
  • ● The portal's requirements are drafted, reviewed and ready to build
  • ● Your first automation is live and saving developer time
  • ● Leadership gets a weekly status and a current decision log without asking
  • **First 6 months**
  • ● The portal is live on time, with the next release planned
  • ● Developers get their work from the backlog, not from ad hoc requests
  • ● Delivery across retail and B2B runs on one predictable rhythm
  • **How We Work**
  • ● Small team, short loops: decisions take days, not committees
  • ● Priorities are agreed with you, not handed over the wall
  • ● Decisions get written down the day they are made
  • ● We use the process that helps us ship, and nothing more
  • **Tools and Stack**
  • ● Platform: Shopify Plus
  • ● Project tracking: Jira
  • ●

Erp

  • Inventory and ERP system
  • ● CRM and tickets: CRM with workflow automation
  • ● Accounting: Cloud accounting system
  • ● Search: Third-party search platform
  • ● Automation: n8n and Shopify Flow
  • ● Design: Figma
  • ● Analytics: GA4 and platform reports
  • **Why Join ATL Diesel?**
  • ● Fully remote role (LATAM-based candidates only)
  • ● Competitive USD compensation
  • ● US holidays, with paid time off included as part of base pay
  • ● A direct line to ecommerce leadership and real ownership of delivery
  • ● A high-visibility launch: a new channel for our business customers, benchmarked against the best in our industry
  • ● Freedom to build: tools, automations and prototypes are part of the job, not a side project
  • ● Room to grow: after launch, you run delivery for all of our ecommerce work
  • **This Role Is Not**
  • ● A product strategy role: leadership sets direction and priorities, and you shape them with analysis and delivery insight
  • ● A developer role: you build tools and prototypes; developers build the product
  • ● A customer support role: you handle technical edge cases, not the support queue
  • ● A people-management role
  • ● A process-heavy role: we use what helps the team ship
