- **About The Role**
- The Performance Marketing Manager at mSupply is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for driving qualified customer acquisition through digital channels. This role involves managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, OTT, Connected TV, and programmatic display, as well as enhancing organic search visibility through SEO and AI Engine Optimization initiatives. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the manager will develop and execute performance marketing strategies that align with business objectives, optimize marketing investments, and generate measurable revenue impact for both ecommerce platforms and brick-and-mortar branches.
- This position requires a blend of strategic planning, operational execution, and team management. The manager will oversee agency relationships, lead creative testing and campaign optimization, and develop audience strategies using first-party data and advanced targeting techniques. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including eCommerce, UX, Web, and Sales Enablement to improve conversion rates, support local marketing efforts, and ensure seamless integration of digital activation with sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large performance marketing budgets, deep platform expertise, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- **Qualifications**
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in performance marketing, paid media, or digital acquisition roles
- Proven ownership of significant paid media budgets with demonstrated improvements in ROAS, CPA, or related metrics
- Deep hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and Google Analytics 4
- Experience with DSP or OTT platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, MNTN, or Vibe (preferred)
- Knowledge of SEO and emerging AEO/GEO disciplines, including content, structured data, and authority signals
- Experience managing or leading agency/vendor relationships and transition projects
- Strong analytical skills with familiarity in attribution methodologies and BI tools like Looker Studio or Power BI
- Previous people management experience or demonstrated readiness to manage a direct report
- Experience in B2B, wholesale distribution, or multi-location retail environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Unilog, Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field; advanced certifications like Google Ads or Meta Blueprint are a plus
- **Responsibilities**
- Execute and optimize paid media strategies across multiple platforms, managing budgets and campaign performance daily
- Develop and maintain a unified performance measurement framework with clear KPIs, attribution models, and ROI targets
- Lead the transition and in-housing of paid media management from external agencies, including platform consolidation and capability building
- Manage agency and vendor relationships through SOW negotiations, performance reviews, and strategic planning
- Oversee creative testing, audience segmentation, bid management, and campaign optimization efforts
- Define and implement SEO and AI Engine Optimization strategies across all brand websites and ecommerce properties
- Manage the performance and development of the SEO/AEO team member, setting goals and providing ongoing feedback
- Drive technical SEO initiatives such as keyword research, structured data implementation, and content strategy alignment
- Own SEO performance tracking, forecasting, and competitive intelligence analysis
- Coordinate digital activation efforts supporting local branches, including local awareness, lead generation, and traffic-driving campaigns
- Collaborate with web and UX teams to identify and eliminate conversion barriers on ecommerce sites
- Build dashboards and reporting tools to track funnel performance from impression to revenue
- Develop and refine audience strategies utilizing first-party data, platform audiences, and lookalike modeling
- Partner with data and analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking, conversion API integrations, and a robust MarTech infrastructure
- Implement targeting strategies to maximize new customer acquisition while protecting brand spend
- Align paid media efforts with vertical marketing strategies for HVAC, Plumbing, and Appliance segments
- Coordinate with Sales Enablement to ensure paid lead generation supports sales efforts effectively
- Provide regular performance reports and strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
