- **About The Role**
- We are seeking an experienced Off-Page SEO Specialist to lead and execute Firecrawl’s off-site authority-building initiatives. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining the company's reputation, backlinks, digital PR, and brand mentions across relevant platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of traditional off-page SEO combined with an innovative approach to GEO (generative engine optimization), which involves securing citations within language models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude. You will work closely with our growth strategist to develop and implement comprehensive outreach campaigns, build strategic partnerships, and monitor citation metrics that demonstrate tangible growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence Firecrawl’s visibility among developer communities and AI/LLM ecosystems globally, while owning the entire off-page SEO lifecycle from strategy to execution and measurement.
- **Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in off-page SEO, with proven success in backlink acquisition and digital PR campaigns.
- Strong expertise in GEO strategies, including tracking LLM citations and reverse-engineering AI content pulls.
- Experience working with technical or developer-focused audiences and understanding their preferred channels and publications.
- Exceptional outreach skills with a track record of building meaningful relationships with editors, maintainers, and industry influencers.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver results without extensive oversight.
- Data literacy with proficiency in backlink analysis tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz, and the ability to tie off-page efforts to broader business metrics.

- Collaborate with the content team to create linkable assets such as original research, benchmarks, and technical deep-dives that naturally attract citations and backlinks.
- Monitor brand mentions, unlinked mentions, and competitor citations, converting opportunities into backlinks and citations.
- Regularly report on key metrics such as domain acquisitions, citation share within LLMs, referral traffic, and share of voice on target queries.
- Continuously refine outreach and GEO strategies based on data insights and industry trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align off-page activities with overall growth and branding objectives.
